Sonic nodded. "Yes. Aren't you one, Mr. Wang? So many disasters have struck Earth, and you solved every single one."
"Good eye. I am the legendary undefeated warrior."
Andrew nodded in satisfaction. Sonic was speechless. Wasn't this the time to be modest? And was he asking just so Sonic would praise him?
"Just kidding. In fact, no one in this world can win every battle, including me."
Andrew smiled. "So when we make plans, we must do one thing."
Sonic asked curiously, "What?"
"Plan for defeat before planning for victory."
Andrew said, "Take this ambush, for example. We might not necessarily win. Knuckles might be the one laughing in the end. Therefore, we need a backup measure so we can turn things around when we're at a disadvantage."
Sonic nodded. "That makes sense. Then, Mr. Wang, what backup measure should we prepare?"
"I've already prepared it for you."
Andrew smiled. "I'll give you three quills. They represent three methods and should basically guarantee that you defeat Knuckles and rescue Flash."
"Three?"

Just then, Dr. Egghead swaggered into the cabin and asked, "Sonic, do you know what having two captives means?"
