Injustice Superman was thrilled to see Lois again, but he soon realized something was wrong. He asked in shock, "Why can't I hear your heartbeat or breathing? Huh, Lois, why are you a metal robot?"
"He isn't Superman from our Universe."
Lois froze at that. After hesitating, she did not immediately activate the alarm device Clark had given her. Instead, she asked, "You're not the Superman I know?"
"I really am not Superman from this Universe. Lois, what exactly happened to you? Why did you become like this? And are you really Lois Lane?"
As Injustice Superman spoke, he snapped his fingers. The air trembled, and everyone around them fainted.
Seeing this, Lois vaguely guessed his identity. She said, "I really am Lois Lane. As for why I'm a robot, it's a long story. We can talk about it later.
"If I'm not mistaken, you're the Injustice Superman Diana mentioned, right?"
"That's what she calls me?"
Injustice Superman was somewhat displeased. He raised a hand, wanting to touch Lois's face, but she hurriedly avoided him.
Injustice Superman awkwardly lowered his hand and said sadly, "Lois, I just don't want the tragedy to happen again.
"Lois, I'm sorry. If I hadn't been so naive and useless, you and our child wouldn't have died. It's all my fault. I failed you, and I failed our child."
As he spoke, Injustice Superman knelt before Lois. He was repenting, repenting for his sins.
"That wasn't your fault. It was Joker's fault. You shouldn't punish yourself for someone else's mistakes."
Lois said, "Lois is in Heaven, and she would never want to see you become like this. She wants you to be as you once were—cheerful, optimistic, never willing to admit defeat, wholeheartedly helping others."
"I haven't changed. I'm still wholeheartedly helping others."
