"Give you the seal?"
Raven touched the seal on her forehead, hesitating slightly. Mechanical Trigon smiled without urging her.
A moment later, Raven removed the seal and handed it to Mechanical Trigon. The reason was simple: if he tried to seize it by force, she had no ability to resist. Rather than that, she might as well take a gamble.
Mechanical Trigon caught the seal and suddenly laughed. "Ha, I knew this trick would work. She obediently handed over the seal."
"Yeah, Father, she's so stupid."
Raven giggled. Raven's expression changed drastically, and she immediately reached for the seal. She had been tricked. The Trigon from the Parallel Universe had not become good—Raven had become bad instead.
"That won't do."
Mechanical Trigon withdrew his hand. Then, he and Raven burst out laughing together. Raven said, "You actually believed we were tricking you? Don't worry, we're good people.
"If you need proof, I can have Mr. Wang from our universe write you a certificate."
"That's right, absolutely good people."
Mechanical Trigon smiled. Raven glared at the father and daughter and gritted her teeth. "Are you making fun of me?"
Raven spread her hands. "Don't take it so seriously. It was just a joke to lighten the mood."
Raven was speechless. Scaring people like that could scare them to death, you know?
Then, a flicker of envy passed through Raven's eyes. Her counterpart from the Parallel Universe had such a good relationship with Mechanical Trigon. They were a truly... well, unscrupulous father-daughter pair.
"All right, let's get down to business."
Mechanical Trigon said, "Raven, how do you want Trigon handled? Completely killed, or should we leave her with a remnant soul?
