Supergirl felt like punching someone at Andrew's answer. Andrew laughed. "You don't, but I do. Don't worry, we'll come back to life."
Of course, Andrew wasn't dead at all. He only said they would come back together because he couldn't be bothered to explain.
"Will we really come back to life?" Supergirl asked nervously. "Mr. Wang, I really don't want to die."
"Nope. Ha, don't look so broken. I'm just kidding."
Andrew said, "Come on, experience the mysteries of resurrection. Not everyone gets a chance to experience death and resurrection. This journey will be extremely beneficial to your future."
As Andrew spoke, the world outside the Consciousness Space gradually brightened. Supergirl's body was reviving.
"If I had a choice, I'd rather not. It's so great that I can come back to life."
Seeing that she really was about to revive, Supergirl lit up with joy. I'm just a kid. Making me die over and over is way too cruel.
Inside the Pyramid, Anubis told Evie and O'Connell, "Don't bother checking. She's already dead. That's what happens when you oppose a god. Daughter of the Pharaoh, guard of the Pharaoh, you're next."
Evie and O'Connell were doomed to die, because Anubis wanted to reclaim the power of resurrection within them. He couldn't let it go to waste.
At those words, O'Connell immediately stepped in front of Evie. Evie also picked up her weapon, ready to fight to the death. Even against a god, they wouldn't stop resisting.
Anubis shook his head. They were ants trying to stop a chariot. He raised his hand, ready to reap their souls.
After dealing with these two, Anubis would leave the Pyramid and deal with the other superheroes, crush Earth's defenses, and turn the planet into his pasture.
