Andrew shook his head and said, "No wonder there was a relief here depicting the Spear of Judgment killing the Scorpion King. You designed everything, using the Fate Ritual to resurrect temporarily.
"Then you would send out the army you had long stationed on Earth to harvest souls and fully revive."
"It's not merely about fully reviving."
Anubis said, "The souls of Earthlings are special, worth far more than the lives of other beings in the Universe. There are billions of people on Earth now. If I can harvest all their souls, I will become stronger than ever before.
"I have fallen once already. I don't want to fall a second time. This time, I will become the most powerful god."
