Egypt. A Sunship slowly descended.
Sun God Ra, his eldest son Osiris, the God of Vegetation, Agriculture, and Abundance; his second son Set, the Desert God; his grandson Horus; and the other gods of the pantheon, such as Thoth, the God of Wisdom, and Hathor, the Goddess of Love, were all aboard.
"We've finally returned to Earth."
Sun God Ra said excitedly, "Back then, we ruled vast lands on Earth. Later, we were driven away, and Anubis even fell. Now, we have finally returned."
"Yes, we've finally come back. I missed my desert so much."
The Desert God said this, drawing sneers from the surrounding gods. Missed the desert? Who was he trying to fool? Back then, in order to leave the desert, he had nearly killed his brother Osiris and even complained that Sun God Ra was biased.
Fortunately, they had been driven off Earth back then. Otherwise, the pantheon would certainly have descended into civil strife.
These gods were all native gods of Earth. Later, because of certain events, they were driven off Earth. Anubis had even been directly killed, which was why a new Grim Reaper later emerged.
Before leaving, these gods had made many arrangements on Earth. Combined with the overwhelming resentment now covering the planet, that was why they could return.
Other gods could enter Earth as well. It wasn't impossible, but it was extremely difficult.
"There's no need to mention the past anymore. What matters now is exterminating humanity."
Sun God Ra said, "That being promised us that as long as we exterminate humanity, he will give us the believers of an entire star system."
"Grandfather, aside from you, none of us have ever met that being. Can he really be trusted?"
