Chapter Summaries

Demon settled on a plan to send many conscious points of light into the Scripted World, while Andrew prepared to create a New World using newly released movies. The chapter ended with Wade refusing to reveal the movie plots to Chthon and the others.

• The Intermediary explained that Demon’s points of light could retain consciousness but would carry limited memories, which could be sealed and gradually restored.
• Demon accepted the plan and kept it secret from Chthon, who had offered to provide a cheating method.
• Andrew restored Wade’s ability to speak, and Wade complained about The Intermediary before Andrew told him to prepare for the New Scripted World.
• Wade described Marvel’s recent movies and upcoming releases, and Andrew told him to add new and absurd movies without revealing their plots.
• Chthon and the King of Negativity objected to Andrew ordering Wade to keep the plots secret, but Wade declared that he would not tell them.

Andrew prevented Death from extracting movie and TV information from Wade, whose transmission arrived as Garbled Code because of Andrew’s safeguards. As the Magic Array prepared to activate, Wade got ready to supply the content needed to create a New Scripted World.

Andrew’s Magic Array combined Marvel movie memories with Wade and The Intermediary’s Script to create a new world. The world was born, and Death entered in their true form to pursue a plan to become one of its Five Creator Gods.

• The Intermediary’s head exploded and regrew in a constantly shifting form, but a prepared method fused him with Wade’s new body and preserved a little of his sanity.
