Chapter Summaries

Soldier Boy fought off the Bald Expert while Marcus continued his assault on New York, but Andrew Wang arrived and used a vast positive-energy spell to restore the humans and weaken the werewolves. Marcus rejected Andrew’s demand to leave and attacked, prompting Andrew to isolate them and send a divided sun hurtling at him.

• Soldier Boy severed the Bald Expert’s tail, dodged his exploding attack, then ripped off his wings and beat him in a close-quarters fight.
• Marcus watched the heroes struggle to protect New York and turned into black mist to attack Van Helsing as the city’s werewolf population grew.
