The fourth day after the torrential rain ended.

The sun still shone.

"Be careful when you enter the mountains. Don't waste too much time on the road. If you run into danger, run immediately."

Chen Weiyi's voice continued to ring by Chen Yuan's ear. He did not find it nagging; instead, he lifted his head and smiled. "I know, Grandpa."

After putting the prepared dry rations and water into his backpack, Chen Yuan picked up his sickle and waved to the old man. "Then I'll be off first."

"Come back early." Countless thoughts churned in the old man's throat, but in the end, they turned into four simple words.

"Awoo, awoo, awoo!"

Cola, who had long been unable to wait, barked twice at Chen Weiyi. Then, without looking back, it dashed out the front gate. A breeze coiled around its body, and in the blink of an eye, it became a tiny black dot.

Spark tilted its head slightly upward, its narrow eyes fixed ahead. Then it slowly flapped its wings and rode the wind into the air.

It stared around and searched for a long while. At last, it caught sight of something familiar within its hazy memories and flew toward the front left.

Cola barked at Spark in midair, then lowered its head to look at its four limbs, suddenly becoming dejected.

When will I grow wings?

"Keep up, Cola."

Its master's voice suddenly rang out. Cola shook its head, a carefree grin spreading across its face. In the blink of an eye, it cast aside its dejection and quickly followed behind Chen Yuan.

Whether it was the chirping little birds on the branches or the butterflies fluttering among the grass, everything could draw Cola's intense interest.

Only when Chen Yuan called for it would it race back and return to his side.

Yet not long after they left Xuanhe Village, Chen Yuan received a text message:

He then called for the two little ones to stop for the time being and logged into the official Beast Tamer website to find out.

The Beast Tamer website was exceptionally simple. At the very top, it displayed the current number of association members: 1351.

Below were several sections: Personal Center, Beast Taming Knowledge, Task Hall, Beast Tamer Rights and Obligations.

Chen Yuan entered the Personal Center:

There was naturally no need to say much about the first few entries, but the final entry, Contribution Points, caught Chen Yuan's particular attention.

Chen Yuan then browsed through the other three sections and finally figured out the purpose of Contribution Points.

The Beast Taming Knowledge section listed knowledge related to Beast Tamers, most of which Chen Yuan already knew.

But beyond that, there were two important sections within it—Spiritual Plants and Extraordinary Creatures.

The Spiritual Plant page listed basic information on more than a hundred Spiritual Plants, including their pictures, physical characteristics, growing environments, uses, and more.

Chen Yuan flipped through it for a long time before finding the target of this trip—the Flame Flame Fruit.

Flame Flame Fruit: Level-two resource. Contains a large amount of fire-attribute energy and is greatly beneficial to fire-attribute Extraordinary Creatures. (Information incomplete; may be supplemented.)

Once correct information is supplemented, the Beast Tamer Association will award Contribution Points according to the importance of the information.

Likewise, if one discovered an unknown Spiritual Plant and reported it to the association, one could also receive Contribution Points.

After all, vast areas of the Spiritual Plant page were still blank.

"Clearly, the higher-ups had long made thorough preparations for the Spiritual Tide. They possessed relevant information, but it wasn't complete," Chen Yuan secretly guessed.

The Extraordinary Creature page likewise listed basic information on more than a hundred Extraordinary Creatures, including their names, attributes, temperaments, and so on, but large areas there were blank as well.

One section of information drew Chen Yuan's particular attention:

Flame Cloud Falcon: Ordinary—Elite (Advancement requirements missing. Uploading them can earn Contribution Points.)

Condensing Wind Hound: Ordinary—Elite (Advancement requirements may be purchased with Contribution Points.)

Chen Yuan tried to make the purchase, and a message immediately popped up—Your Contribution Points are insufficient. Unable to purchase.

Chen Yuan had already been mentally prepared, so his expression did not change. Stroking his chin, he muttered, "Then can't I upload the Flame Cloud Falcon's advancement requirements and use the Contribution Points I get to buy the Condensing Wind Hound's advancement requirements?"

In the Task Hall section, Beast Tamers could accept tasks issued by the association and receive Contribution Points upon completion.

But when Chen Yuan set his location to Baokun City, he found that there were currently no tasks available to accept.

"Then for now, I can only supplement the Flame Flame Fruit's information and upload the Flame Cloud Falcon's advancement method," Chen Yuan thought.

With that in mind, Chen Yuan clicked to upload the Flame Cloud Falcon's advancement method, and a message immediately appeared:

There are currently only three ways to supplement advancement methods:

1. Go to the local Beast Tamer Association and complete the Extraordinary Creature's advancement ritual under the witness of staff members.

2. Record an advancement video and wait for review.

3. If you do not have the advancement resources, you may choose to upload the advancement requirements and wait for the association to complete the advancement ritual.

Note: The association has a heavy workload. If you deliberately upload false information, once discovered, your Beast Tamer status will be revoked for life.

Note: Based on the order in which advancement requirements are successfully uploaded, the first one hundred Beast Tamers will receive generous Contribution Points.

Chen Yuan's eyes immediately lit up. He could no longer spare a thought for anything else and hurriedly put his phone back into his pocket. Pointing toward the forest directly ahead, he shouted to the two little ones, "Go, go, go!"

He, Chen, was definitely taking this generous batch of Contribution Points!

Although Cola did not know why its master had suddenly become so excited, it enthusiastically raised its head and let out a long howl. Barks rose and fell for a time, startling a flock of birds into flight.
