Background / History

Cola was raised by Chen Yuan from a young age and was his preferred companion long before the Spiritual Tide. Its loyalty was unquestioned, but its inability to form a Beast Tamer contract initially led Chen Yuan to contract Spark instead. Cola reacted jealously to Spark receiving attention and food, establishing its longstanding rivalry with the falcon. 6

It naturally evolved into a Condensing Wind Hound and began training alongside Spark. Chen Yuan emphasized repetitive practice, allowing Cola to develop Wind Blade, Wind Treading Step, and its speed-focused combat style. 8 10 32

After Chen Yuan became an Intermediate Beast Tamer, he formally contracted Cola as his second pet beast. Cola was proud of the contract and immediately set its sights on eventually surpassing Spark. 92

Cola sought a leadership role among the village's canine pets, challenged the Woof Woof Squad, and later became its recognized leader. The squad guards Xuanhe Village and calls on Cola whenever local incidents exceed their ability to handle. 108 109 119 295
