While Yang Feng and Xu Haotian were discussing their opinions, Wu Xuan spoke up again. "Stop wasting time here. Brother Lei has already given the order. I figure the purpose is to bombard the zombie horde and mutated zombies behind us. But based on what I know of Brother Lei, he wouldn't give the order to fire artillery without a reason."

Yang Feng could not help asking curiously, "Then, Brother Xuan, what should we do next?"

Wu Xuan immediately said, "What else can we do? Everyone, run for your lives! Unless you want to be blown away by the blast from Brother Lei's shells."

"Ah, run!"

After hearing Wu Xuan's warning, Yang Feng and Xu Haotian were both utterly shocked. They did not dare delay for even a moment. They accelerated to an incredible speed, following closely behind Wu Xuan as they sprinted toward the front.

Boom!

Almost the instant the three of them sped up, a thunderous explosion rang out. Dust shook violently as a tremendous force erupted from the ground and shot toward a point more than a hundred meters behind Wu Xuan and the others.

The shell flew incredibly fast. Just as Wu Xuan and the other two had accelerated out of the danger zone, the massive shell came hurtling in and exploded heavily behind them. A scorching wave of heat and flames surged outward, wiping out the numerous zombies behind Wu Xuan.

After the explosion, a powerful shock wave rose and spread rapidly in every direction. It even slammed into Wu Xuan and the others from behind, sending all three of them sprawling.

After being blown away by the shock wave, the three men lay facedown on the ground. As Wu Xuan crawled back up, he muttered, "Damn, I still underestimated the power of that blast.
