As Shangri-La emerged and the Forest Kingdom spread, Ji Jue joined a Federation advance team and discovered that the Giant Tree seemed to recognize him as one of its own.

• Xie Heli escaped the Empire and Federation’s assault on Tower City, while Ji Jue pursued him and sought a way to draw out the Sower.
• Ji Jue investigated the wolf transformation at Mercy Market, captured a specimen, and helped uncover the sacrificial Wolf Blood Oath spread through White State.
• Ji Jue fought Blood Slaughter and Kuatli, then learned that Xie Heli and other Fiendified Ones were gathering sacrifices to revive the White King.
• Xie Heli sacrificed the Empty shells across White State, unleashing Natural Disasters and bringing the Forest Kingdom Shangri-La forth around the Sacrificial King’s remains.
• The Forest Kingdom besieged the frontline base, where Isis reached the Summoning Rank and helped defend the Workshop as the Federation and Empire sealed Shangri-La inside a Formless cage.
• Chosen Ones entered the Forest Kingdom to grow stronger by killing, feeding blood into the Giant Tree as a desiccated corpse began to stir.
• Ji Jue negotiated a place as an Artisan on the Federation’s advance team, joined Tong Shan’s group, and entered the Forest Kingdom with An Ning as their guide.
• Ji Jue sensed his Wolf Blood Thorns answering the Giant Tree, then saw a new bud representing him and feared he had become a local again.

Ji Jue and his companions fought through the Forest Kingdom as the three Wolf Fiends awakened and White State descended into catastrophe. After the White King’s death and Shangri-La’s destruction, Ji Jue returned to a country in turmoil, where An Ning warned him to stay human and he said farewell to Fan Yun.

• Ji Jue and Tong Shan survived the Forest Kingdom’s assault, fought Tao Chen and his summoned creatures, and Ji Jue used Pan Ying to kill Tao Chen and confront the Wolf of the Heart.
• Ji Jue pulled the Wolf of the Heart’s corruption from An Ning, and she marked his Metal Heart before falling asleep in his arms, and the group then saw bombers burn the villages beyond the Forest Kingdom.
• The White King killed Ensu'er, became the Corpse Bell Wolf, and charged into the heavens, while Ji Jue returned to the Forest Kingdom and Xie Heli’s attack triggered a Fusion Bomb.
• Ji Jue killed Xie Heli after Shangri-La rejected him, took control of the collapsing Forest Kingdom, and refused to become the Forest Wolf.
• Ji Jue offered up the White Deer to redirect the battle against the Sacrificial King, as the fighting forces repeatedly changed sides and Mountain Wolf was cut in half by an unseen strike.
• The White Deer beheaded the Corpse Bell Wolf, whose death swept across Central Earth and gave people in White State the ability to summon the White Deer, and Ji Jue recovered his Wolf Blood Oath before Shangri-La vanished.
• Tower City burned as White State’s government collapsed, the Sower revived the Iron Stone Heart for Salahuddin and the Sand State survivors, and An Ning warned Ji Jue she would kill him if he became a wolf again.
• Ji Jue offered Liang Mo and his comrades jobs at Coast Technology, then accused Fan Yun of worsening the White State operation before bidding him farewell as an airship descended.

Ji Jue trained under Ye Xian, developed the Sundial business, and struggled to understand failure before joining the Excommunication Squad. The arc leaves him confronting Belzuna inside Dust and Haze Workshop after discovering how it forcibly fused its craftsmen into its tradition.

• Ji Jue and Inverse Scale killed Fan Yun, and Ji Jue sent Fan Yun’s soul into the abyss before agents found his mutilated corpse.
• Ji Jue met Nirvana’s leader and discovered he was Heavenly Furnace, then trained with Ye Xian and began optimizing her Powered Armor prototype.
• Ji Jue explored Isis’s transformed Puna Bantu and worked with her to develop Juque Engineering, while Lou Feng completed the Sundial Wristwatch prototype.
• Ji Jue and Lou Feng marketed the Sundial, demonstrated its protections against curses and mind control, and gained sales and recognition despite opposition from the Association.
• Ji Jue settled his dispute with the Association, accepted a position on the Excommunication Squad, and then struggled to understand why his alchemical work never failed.
• Ji Jue learned to use repeated clashes and reconstruction to raise a broken sword’s potential, then joined the Excommunication Squad’s operation against Dust and Haze Workshop.
• Ji Jue and Yellow Beard entered the hidden Workshop, fought its defenses, and Ji Jue absorbed the essence of a modular stone sphere before breaking through to its core.
• Ji Jue found Belzuna’s heartlike furnace and realized Dust and Haze Workshop was forcibly integrating its craftsmen, then challenged Belzuna to commit to one approach.

Ji Jue helped Minkler reclaim command of the Seven Cities Allied Defense Fleet and defeat the Venom Fleet, drawing the Chopra Family and the Bloodstained Holy Mother into the conflict. After Ji Jue and Lou Feng destroyed the aberrant infant, Ji Jue proposed taking Minkler to Elephant Isle to claim the family head’s position.

• Ji Jue destroyed Belzuna’s Workshop and inherited the Dust Haze Tradition, then worked with Hu Jian to expand and publish the alchemy compilation.
• Ji Jue forged Juque from Dragon Bone and took Minkler to sea, where they fought off assassins and Minkler revealed that the Chopra Family had marked him as a sacrificial successor.
• Minkler returned to the Ya Men Islands, took control of the Allied Defense Fleet, and led it against the Soekarno Family’s forces and Renut’s Venom Fleet.
• Ji Jue used the Prosperity and the Tower’s Shadow to overcome Renut’s fleet, while Minkler’s victory spread across the Eastern Sea and intensified the Seven Cities’ political conflict.
