Spirit Law Card Game (I)

Dao Artifact Awakening Ceremony.

This was a ceremony modeled after the Tomorrow Sword's Tomorrow and Tomorrow form liberation, artificially recreating the scenery of a Dao altar.

The Tomorrow Society spent six days laying the groundwork for the ceremony, then launched it on the seventh day to achieve the effect of awakening Dao artifacts on a large scale. This period was the grand festival for the entire city.

Yun Ye and the others had only dabbled in cultivation, so Yang An quickly gathered the whole class and organized activities.

All kinds of entertaining activities that showcased various abilities were written on the blackboard.

Everyone revealed their own cards as well. They were all familiar names from the Tomorrow Society. Wu Cheng had even appeared in the past, but his card was no longer sold. Although everyone had one, they hated him so much that they removed him from the card pool instead of adding him.

Next, everyone drew two more Character Cards and covered them, then drew five cards from the three law types.

"Divine Water Water Gold Gold?"

Yun Ye drew the only Divine Art Card and checked its effect.

Divine Art Card—Divine Sense: View one target's hand.

Divine Art Cards had all kinds of special effects. Body Law Cards could restore health, add status effects, or change the battlefield.

Spirit Law Cards could be used for attack and defense.

Players in the game had no fixed teammates or identities and could fight freely. The last player alive won. If a special Divine Art Card was used to form an alliance, multiple players could win together, but Divine Art Cards that inspired trust were the rarest kind. Without sufficient luck, they were very difficult to draw.

A Water Card had to be defended against with an Earth Card. He only had Gold Cards and Water Cards.

During Tian Yu's Character Card phase, she could consume one Wood Card to activate the spirit law Dao Tree, creating a golden rice tree. After two turns, it restored one drop of health, then the Dao Tree withered.

While the Dao Tree existed, a character whose health reached zero would not die. It would merely skip its current turn until the Dao Tree's countdown ended, at which point it would restore one drop of health and its health would no longer be negative. If all Dao Trees disappeared while its health remained negative, the Character Card would die.

"Next is—Wood Card. Attack Yong Fa!"

Tian Jialun smiled brightly. This time, he had to eliminate someone first so he wouldn't come in last again.

Yong Fa slapped down a Gold Card. Although it went against intuition somewhat, Gold was what restrained Wood, not Fire.

The Wood attribute represented vigorous life. Living plants were full of moisture, making them relatively difficult to burn. Fire merely weakly restrained the Wood attribute.

In this game, the weak-restraint rule did not exist. It had been simplified away.
