One after another, they quickly returned to their seats, looking as though they had been having a cheerful chat, leaving Chen Fan completely dumbfounded. But not everyone joined in; there was also a particularly disdainful "Hmph."

Chen Fan looked over and, sure enough, it was Mira. He remembered that in the manga, the two of them had never really gotten along as children. They were both the tsundere type, Chen Fan thought.

Standing at the guild entrance and looking outside, Chen Fan soon saw an object as large as a small mountain slowly moving toward Fairy Tail. A bead of sweat the size of a bean appeared on his forehead. He had not expected Erza to have this hobby even when she was so young.

Erza soon entered the guild. Seeing the harmonious scene inside, she nodded in satisfaction.

Then she suddenly noticed Chen Fan standing to one side. Since Chen Fan's current outfit was so eye-catching, he was hard to miss. She asked curiously, "Who is this?"

At that moment, Natsu and Gray jumped out from who knew where. The two had their arms around each other's shoulders and looked unusually close. Natsu said, "This is Chen Fan, a new member of our guild. The Master brought him back. He uses healing magic."

Gray nodded from the side and added, "And Chen Fan's body is really fragile. A light touch is enough to hurt him."

Chen Fan was furious as he listened. What did he mean by a light touch? It had clearly been a hard crash. He shot Natsu and Gray a contemptuous look. How could a man chicken out in front of women? They were a disgrace to men.

Erza held out her hand to Chen Fan and said, "Hello, my name is Erza Scarlet. I use Requip Magic."

The Chen Fan who had been acting so manly just moments ago stared at her hand and roared inwardly, A hand, a hand—it's a girl's hand! He had lived for so many years in his previous life without ever touching a girl's hand. It was clear just how badly Chen Fan had been deprived.

He had finally gotten the chance to be a doctor, and since doctors got to, well... no need to say more. Those who understood, understood. But he had not expected that all the injured people today would be men. That was also why Chen Fan had managed to scam so much money.

The expression on his face immediately became incredibly lecherous, making Natsu and Gray want to throw up. He vigorously rubbed his right hand against his clothes, then reached it forward, ready for an intimate yet friendly encounter with Erza.

Chen Fan's hand was still hanging in midair. He could neither pull it back nor continue forward, and it twitched awkwardly in the air. The lecherous expression had vanished from his face, replaced by utter embarrassment. In an instant, his face turned bright red, before he even had the chance to suppress it with his superpower.

Natsu and Gray burst out laughing at the sight. Ever since Chen Fan had arrived, the two of them had been constantly frustrated. They could neither hit him nor even bump into him. Now that they had finally seen Chen Fan get embarrassed, they could not have been happier. The other guild members who saw the scene also began laughing loudly.

Over the past few days, they had personally watched Natsu and Gray suffer in silence.

"Just you wait, wah..." After delivering those fierce words, Chen Fan covered his face and ran toward the back of the guild. This only made everyone in the guild laugh even louder.

Only Erza looked somewhat confused, completely unable to make heads or tails of it.

A Year Later

A year passed.

Many things had happened during that year. First, Chen Fan had gotten to know nearly all the major characters who had appeared in Fairy Tail, and he had also met Makarov's grandson, Laxus.
