Suddenly, Natsu pointed in a direction and said, "A village."

"If it's a village, there should be food." With that, Makarov and the others ran over. Only Chen Fan stayed behind, slowly packing up their things before strolling after them.

Seeing everyone stop ahead, Chen Fan walked up and asked, "What's wrong? Why are you all standing here?"

Chen Fan looked at Erza. "Hmph." She turned her head away. It really was dangerous to offend a woman.

Seeing that, Chen Fan felt a little awkward and looked at Natsu and Gray instead. "Hmph. Hmph." With no other options, Chen Fan turned his gaze to Makarov and Happy. "Hmph."

"Hmph."

Finally, Chen Fan looked at Lucy. Lucy was about to explain when a chill suddenly ran through her body. She looked around and saw that, aside from Chen Fan, everyone else was staring at her with gloomy expressions. Startled, she lowered her head and quietly said, "I don't know."

Seeing that he was clearly unpopular at the moment, Chen Fan decided not to bother. He found a table nearby and sat down by the village cliff, taking out wine and food to eat while watching Makarov and the others in the village below.

After a while, he grew rather tired and lay down to sleep, conveniently blocking out all sound as well.

When he woke up, he found that all his food had been eaten. Not a single bite had been left for him. Looking at those fellows with grease still around their mouths, he said, "Who ate all my food?"

"I don't know," they all said in unison. Their skin was still somewhat thin, and embarrassed blushes appeared on their faces.

"Alright, I didn't say anything. You don't need to be so nervous. Let's go. Now that you're full, you should have the strength to head back, right?" Looking at the sky, he sighed. "It's been so long since I went back. I'm starting to miss home." His melancholy tone affected everyone around him.

Everyone fell silent. Seeing this, Chen Fan realized he seemed to have said something inappropriate. Rubbing his chin, he muttered to himself, "I wonder if my little Mira and little Levy missed me."

The somewhat sorrowful atmosphere was completely ruined by Chen Fan. A cluster of anger marks appeared on Erza's forehead.

Bang! She punched Chen Fan in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground, then walked forward. Seeing that the Fairy Queen was angry again, how could the others dare speak to Chen Fan? They hurriedly followed her, leaving Chen Fan behind.

Looking at the people ahead, Chen Fan truly did not know how much longer things could remain like this. He felt a little wistful.

Suddenly, Chen Fan turned around and said in a low voice, "I hope you've truly turned over a new leaf. Don't do anything that harms Fairy Tail. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind killing a few more people." His calm tone made it all the more chilling.

But Chen Fan immediately turned back around with a bright smile on his face and shouted ahead, "Wait for me, Little Erza!" As he spoke, he ran toward Erza.

Erza shuddered all over at his call and quickened her pace again. Turning back, she shouted at Chen Fan, "I told you not to call me Little Erza! Little Erza, Little Erza—why won't you listen? You're not allowed to call me that again, or I'll kill you!" She walked even faster.

"Then how about Little Love?"

"No."

"Then Little Lucy?"

"Also no."

"Then I'll call you—"

"Ah... I'm not listening, I'm not listening!" Erza said, covering her ears and shaking her head. Her steps grew faster and faster until she simply broke into a run, with Chen Fan chasing after her and leaving a trail of dust behind them.

Makarov and the others all laughed happily. Only Chen Fan could leave Erza at a loss, and only at times like this could they see another side of the normally stern Erza—the side of a girl.

Chapter 18: Just Try Touching Me

"Renting this place only cost 70,000 J? That's really cheap. You found a great place, hey, Lucy." Gray sat bare-chested on the sofa in Lucy's room and spoke to her, startling Lucy, who had just finished writing in her diary.

"Breaking and entering! And stop taking your clothes off in other people's homes!" Lucy said, punching Gray.

"Wait a second, it's a misunderstanding." After arguing back, Gray turned around and said in a somewhat serious tone, "I took them off before I came in."
