Being Called Off

Candy swept through every floor of the entire office building with a clear goal, one hand carrying a shoulder bag wildly out of proportion to her height and the other holding Xiao Huihui's dog leash.

The employees were already used to seeing Candy bring Xiao Huihui around looking for snacks. It wasn't the first time, after all.

Besides, no one dared say anything, nor did they have any reason to. The entire company belonged to her, not to mention that the snacks were free.

After eating a Ham Sausage, Xiao Huihui felt as if its entire dog life were filled with energy and wagged its tail with all its might.

It was only taking a walk, wasn't it? In that regard, it was an expert.

"Let's go. Next stop."

Candy casually picked up the Ham Sausage wrapper from the ground and tossed it into a trash can before pulling Xiao Huihui toward the next floor.

More accurately, Candy wasn't pulling Xiao Huihui along. Xiao Huihui, running ahead, was pulling Candy along.

In less than half an hour, Candy returned to the 26th Floor loaded down with loot.

By then, Candy had already unclipped Xiao Huihui's dog leash and was struggling to carry the bag with both hands.

As she walked, Candy complained softly, "If I'd known, I would've brought Sister a bottle of Tea π. How did taking four extra bottles of drinks make it so much heavier?"

Just then, Zhou Yaling happened to come out to use the restroom. Seeing her beloved bag bearing a weight it shouldn't have had to bear, she hurried over in distress.

When she saw her sister, Candy immediately blossomed with delight and spoke with a beaming smile, eager to claim credit.
