After climbing out of the Rafting River, the little one had truly resigned herself to her fate.
She had no choice. If she refused, her little ears really would fall off.
"Big Brother, I was wrong."
Drinking juice that cost twice as much as it did outside, Mo Jingchun sat at the small dining table. Beside him was another cup of Watermelon Juice.
Everyone silently drank their juice, while Candy stared longingly at the Watermelon Juice that belonged to her.
I really want to drink it, but Big Brother hasn't said anything. Would it be bad if I took it?
Seeing the impatience in Candy's eyes, Mo Jingchun glanced sideways at her and said, "Go ahead and drink it."
"After you finish, have Older Sister Fei Yan take you surfing."
Candy took a huge sip of Watermelon Juice, then tilted her head and asked in confusion, "What about you, Big Brother?"
"Me?"
Mo Jingchun let out a soft snort and said, "I'll sit here and watch you play. In any case, I don't want to drink another drop of the water here."
Candy gave an awkward smile and said nothing. She knew perfectly well why Big Brother had swallowed a mouthful of water.
Speaking now would only make him feel worse.
Candy thought, I really am a good child. I'm always thinking of Big Brother.
A dozen minutes later, Candy dragged Fei Yan and several others off to play, leaving four people beside Mo Jingchun.
"Keep an eye on things. I'll take a nap. Wake me if anything happens."
Lone Wolf nodded while holding the Bionic Hand. "All right, Boss."
Compared to that morning, the dark circles under Mo Jingchun's eyes had faded considerably. Lone Wolf and the others all knew that Boss had not slept well the night before.
