Slight Sequelae

Candy froze for a moment before remembering that today was Sunday.

So her brother had come to wake her up early in the morning just to tell her she had school tomorrow???

She glared at her brother in a huff, then flopped back down and pulled the covers over her head, not bothering to answer him.

Even if she got a beating today, she still wasn't getting up this early.

And Mo Jingchun? Seeing Candy fuming and helpless, he nodded with satisfaction.

When she heard the bedroom door close, Candy shut her eyes and fell asleep again.

Monday through Friday were exhausting. If you had nothing to do on Saturday and Sunday, why not sleep in?

"Your brother was so mean today, Sis. He came to wake me up at dawn, and I thought I had
