Jiang Muxue was in slightly better shape than Jiang Yunfeng and Jiang Lijin. She hadn't landed in a beast's lair, but she'd still ended up somewhere unpleasant: a pitch-black swamp. When she first woke up, she'd nearly suffocated.
This swamp was different from the ones outside. It exerted an intense gravitational pull, and it took her a great deal of effort to crawl out.
She had only just made it to shore.
She hadn't even had time to clean the mud off her clothes before she took out a communication bell from her Space Ring and called Lin Wanxue.
Since she'd nearly died as soon as she arrived, she was worried that Lin Wanxue might have run into a serious crisis the moment she entered.
She wanted to find out where Lin Wanxue was as quickly as possible and meet up with her.
After calling Lin Wanxue and hearing about her situation, she was utterly astonished.
She hadn't expected Lin Wanxue and her family of three to all be transported to the same place. Though they'd landed in a beast's lair, the beast had happened to go out hunting. Not only had they found a safe place, they were now eating rice made from the grain they'd "robbed" from the beast's lair! And rabbit meat!!!
Jiang Muxue looked down at herself, covered in mud.
A huge question rose in her mind.
Were they really all in the same Secret Realm?
"Okay, I'm relieved you're safe. All right, we'll talk tomorrow," Jiang Muxue said.
After she hung up, Su Chen and the others ate a few more bites. Suddenly, the noise outside grew quieter.
"Did that beast give up?" Lin Wanxue asked.
"I doubt it," Su Ye said.
Su Chen said, "Let's ignore it. We'll leave here tomorrow."
"Mm. Let's eat."
