Klein looked at Tao Yu, who had appeared before him once more. For some reason, a sense of reassurance welled up inside him, and the fatigue and mental pressure he had accumulated seemed to ease considerably.
It was even more effective than Miss Justice's psychological treatment.

Though he knew that his fellow countryman had come from the outside world and might be in a rather different situation, and that he wasn't one of the Old Era's survivors hanging above Sefirah Castle,
their brief time together had still filled the emptiness in the heart of Klein, a wanderer who could never return to his homeland.
After becoming a Scholar of Yore, he could travel through the gaps in history. Klein had truly understood that he could never go back...
Amid that comfort, the changes in Tao Yu seemed less important to him.
When Tao Yu had left last time, he had faced threats from high-sequence Beyonders, even Angels. Klein hadn't been able to help him at all. Now, although Klein was still only a mere Sequence Three, perhaps he could offer some solutions with the help of Sefirah Castle's nature.
From the looks of it, though, Tao Yu's strength had probably increased considerably as well...
At the very least, even in Sefirah Castle, Klein could only make out his hazy outline.
He had a vague feeling that if Tao Yu didn't want to, he could easily sever his connection to Sefirah Castle.
