"Yui, you're our guide."
"O-okay..." Yuihama Yui came back to her senses and pointed. "Head that way first, then go through that alley..."
Amamiya Natsuki took off at a run.
Yuihama Yui jumped, feeling the wind rush against her face. She experienced firsthand what it meant to move at lightning speed and wrapped both arms tightly around Amamiya Natsuki's neck.
After a while, Yuihama Yui finally began to get used to it. Though she was still nervous and excited, she conscientiously took on her duty as their "Guide Princess."
They passed through an alley and crossed a small river. Amamiya Natsuki came running onto a commercial street, where screams and cries for help suddenly caught his attention.
"Hm?"
Amamiya Natsuki stopped and turned toward the cries for help.
They came from a roadside KTV.
"Is there... a monster in there?"
Yuihama Yui's face paled a little, and she couldn't help feeling nervous.
"Probably." Amamiya Natsuki turned toward the KTV and said calmly, "We might as well go in and gather some information."
As their Guide Princess, Yuihama Yui naturally had no say in the matter. All she could do was hold her breath nervously and pray silently.
Amamiya Natsuki entered the KTV and set the Dango-headed girl down. As soon as he reached the second floor, he saw a panicked crowd rushing downstairs. One blonde girl was a little slower than the others, and someone shoved her to the ground.
"Eh? That's Yumiko!"
Yuihama Yui's eyes widened, and she cried out softly.
Amamiya Natsuki looked at the blonde girl on the floor. She looked about the same age as the Dango-headed girl.
"You know her?"
Yuihama Yui hurriedly explained, "Yumiko's my friend. We're in the same class."
