Yukinoshita Yukino asked in confusion:

"Are folk scientists really that amazing?"

"It was just a coincidence." Amamiya Natsuki waved a hand. "Lots of great inventions in the world came about by coincidence... Now, let me continue making things up."

"What did you say?"

"Ahem, I'll continue." Amamiya Natsuki pretended he hadn't heard and went on, "I realized your memories had gotten mixed up. That's probably why you couldn't wake up, so I've been trying to wake you."

"And Miss Ouija is actually the collective embodiment of your subconscious." Amamiya Natsuki looked at Yukino and spoke with a perfectly straight face. "Miss Ouija didn't lie. You're the one who forgot everything."

"...Is that so?"

Yukinoshita Yukino instinctively covered her chest.

His fabrication was so convincing that all three girls, apart from Amamiya Natsuki and Ouija, half believed him. After all, the classroom formed by the nightmare really was full of inconsistencies. The candles kept burning without getting any shorter, and though it was summer, the temperature was neither hot nor cold. The windows were open, yet there weren't any mosquitoes... There were too many things that didn't add up.

"I have a question." Yukinoshita Haruno spoke up quickly. "If that's true, why didn't Natsuki tell us at the beginning? Why only tell us now?"

"I actually told you many times." Amamiya Natsuki sighed. "There's no real concept of time in the Consciousness space. If you don't believe me, ask Miss Ouija: how many times has this same Quiz game started?"

The task of asking Ouija went to the bystander girl. From what they could tell, she'd been trapped in the nightmare the longest.

"Ouija, Ouija," the bystander girl asked hesitantly, "how many times has this same game started?"

Ouija quickly gave her answer:
