After finishing a set of warm-up exercises, the two of them grabbed their surfboards and officially began the challenge.
They hadn't truly felt it while standing on shore, but now that they were actually out in the ocean, they could feel just how terrifying the wind and waves were. Faced with nature's immense power, even players seemed especially insignificant.
Fortunately, Amamiya Natsuki and Yukino had nerves of steel. Neither showed the slightest panic or fear as they rode their boards, dodging the waves while looking for an opening.
A moment later.
A gigantic wave nearly thirty meters high appeared on the sea, roaring with tremendous force as if it were about to overturn the entire sky.
"Yukino! Now!"
Amamiya Natsuki shouted a warning.
"Got it."
Yukinoshita Yukino took a deep breath, tensed her body, and prepared herself.
Two tiny figures headed straight toward the towering wave, swimming against its force.
RUMBLE!
The wave crashed down. The entire ocean turned into a vast expanse of white, swallowing Amamiya Natsuki and Yukino without a trace.
A moment later.
Splash.
Yukino surfaced, wearing her breathing mask, and began looking around for Amamiya Natsuki.
She searched all around but couldn't find any sign of him. Yukinoshita Yukino's heart clenched involuntarily.
Even though she knew Amamiya Natsuki wouldn't get into trouble so easily, worry still took hold of her heart in an instant.
Yukinoshita Yukino gritted her teeth and was about to dive underwater to search for him when a soft splash sounded beside her, and a figure emerged.
"Cough, cough..."
Amamiya Natsuki spat out the seawater in his mouth and shouted in complaint:
"I got unlucky just now and ran into an undercurrent. It took everything I had to break free... Did we complete the challenge?"
"Not yet."
