At first, Yukinoshita Yukino thought Haruno, like her, had secretly gone to Amamiya Natsuki's room.
But after discreetly observing her, Yukinoshita Yukino realized that wasn't the case.
Haruno hadn't snuck out while she was asleep. She only got up quietly around eleven at night to go to the bathroom, where she stayed for a long time.
Why was her sister going to the bathroom?
And what was she doing in there for so long?
During the day, she'd tried asking Haruno indirectly, but Haruno had casually changed the subject.
Yukinoshita Yukino had realized then that since Haruno didn't want to talk about it, asking again wouldn't reveal the truth.
But she still couldn't help wondering.
The world wasn't safe. There were many dark things lurking in the shadows, beyond the reach of sunlight.
And that wasn't even counting supernatural beings and evil spirits. Online gambling and scams could easily ruin someone's life, too.
Of course, Yukinoshita Yukino didn't believe Haruno would gamble online, but Haruno's secretive behavior in recent days was still concerning.
If she didn't get to the bottom of it, Yukinoshita Yukino wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully.

The diary grew slightly warm.
