But Amamiya Natsuki knew very well that having more skills wasn't always better.
The reason was simple: dungeons weren't ordinary mobile games, and using skills wasn't a matter of tapping whatever lit up. The timing and circumstances of each skill's use demanded a great deal of precision, which required extensive practice.
It was hard to say whether someone who had learned ten thousand different kicking techniques was stronger than someone who had practiced one technique ten thousand times.
So there was no problem with giving Haruno one of the Skill Copy Scrolls.
"Nothing comes for free!"
Yukinoshita Hiyori suddenly refused with righteous indignation.
Amamiya Natsuki froze, surprised.
"Elder Sister Haruno doesn't want it?"
"I'm not going to take Natsuki-kun's things for free, but I can borrow one from you." Yukinoshita Hiyori's voice was sweet. "I'm just busy these next couple of days, and I'm in Chiba Prefecture, so I can't make it back. I'll have to ask Little Yukino to go over and borrow the scroll for me."
Amamiya Natsuki: "..."
Instead of coming to borrow it herself, she was sending Yukino over. She was practically shoving her own sister into a pit of fire!
"Then it's settled!" Yukinoshita Hiyori said with a cheerful smile. "I'll have Little Yukino go over and borrow it in my place. Natsuki-kun can do whatever he wants then."
That wasn't for her to decide. It was up to Yukino, wasn't it?
The call ended.
Amamiya Natsuki put away his phone and headed home.
He'd thought Haruno would take ages to get things done, and that it would be at least a few days before he heard anything. Who would've guessed that at eight that evening, he'd receive a message from Yukino?
"Do you... have a Skill Copy Scroll?"
The sender was Yukinoshita Yukino.
He
