In the ancient legends of the Sangha people, when the world was newly born, the Creator discovered the Underworld while wandering the sea of stars.
They felt the Underworld's longing and accepted its plea, using their boundless power to connect it to the mortal world and make it the foundation of the cycle of life and death. This legend was the theoretical basis for the Sangha people's reverence for death, and the story it described was, by and large, true.
It had been confirmed that the connection between the Underworld plane and the material world had been made by the Creator.
According to Triss's private account—she had escorted the Pharaoh's sarcophagus to the Moon's Holy City—when she handed Murphy's artificial divinity to the will of the Underworld, the latter had still been muttering about some "agreement" it had made with the Creator.
