Talking with Madam Flindis had indeed been an eye-opening experience for Murphy.
This Sentinel Primarch had personally served the Creator during the "Age of Glory." She had also assisted the Creator with various studies—and occasionally been studied herself. When it came to understanding that old pervert, probably no one in the world knew more than she did.
For instance, Madam Flindis confirmed Murphy's earlier guess about the Creator's "aspects."
According to the Grand Archivist, the Creator was an intelligent deity with many aspects, each specializing in a different field. He was a true jack-of-all-trades, versed in everything from pharmacology and alchemy to engineering and medicine—even tailoring and smithing. He also had an aspect dedicated specifically to combat.
Before the Age of Glory began, that combat aspect had single-handedly suppressed the monsters and demons born in the depths of the Sea of Lightless Night.
Don't let that bastard Tao fool you with his big talk in front of Old Ao, claiming that he had fought the Creator for hundreds of years. That was just a shameless claim by a Warp Shadow trying to make himself look good. In the age when the Creator walked among the stars, those Warp Shadows could only hide in their cages deep within the Sea of Lightless Night, not daring to stir.
Of course, Tao's claim that he had fought the Creator might actually have been true. After all, throwing a dart from five hundred miles away from the battlefield technically counted as fighting, didn't it?
And considering that the Sentinel Legion had managed to defeat three Warp Shadows with little more than its flagship, the Omega, these creatures were obviously nowhere near the Creator's level. They weren't even in the same league.
