Like rumors about which family supposedly had powerful items stashed in their house, which blacksmith was especially good at making certain unusual things, or where the former headquarters of the outer district's urban gang had been.
They sounded like nothing more than silly urban legends, but a closer look revealed that Madam Triss's rumors actually concealed important information.
The special locations she mentioned were all very well hidden. Without a local to guide them, it was difficult for the little players to pinpoint them in the city's thoroughly transformed ruins.
But if they managed to piece together the truth from scattered clues, the rewards could be substantial.
