The construction worker and the bricklayer had successfully completed the work they most urgently needed to do. After proving that the "Rapid Construction Technique" they had developed was entirely feasible, they also got the workers at the construction site fired up.
They had already been told that this residential district was meant to house the camp's survivors and help them make it through the coming winter.
Since they were building homes for themselves, of course they couldn't afford to be careless.
The construction worker and the bricklayer didn't even need to urge them on. Led by their respective foremen, the workers enthusiastically threw themselves into making molds for the new houses.
They had the simple blueprints the bricklayer had drawn, and they'd spent the previous four days learning how to make these fairly crude items under his hands-on instruction. So the two "designers" from the Stonemasons' Guild no longer needed to keep watch over the site.
They'd been assigned a new task, and it was giving the two graduate students from the design department quite a headache.
"Look at you, planning the new city of Scarlet Castle! That's like being put in charge of planning a small county town. Do you think you can pull it off?"
Inside a tent at the Forward Camp, three guys in administrative roles sat with the construction worker and the bricklayer, going over the important side quest the construction worker had just triggered. Meanwhile, the bricklayer had drifted off into his own thoughts, pondering his career.
As it turned out, the administrative profession's trial really was a bit easier than the combat professions'. Judging by the construction worker's experience, all he had to do to become an "official village chief" was lead the construction of a residential district for the survivors.
Never mind all
