As dusk settled over the land, a massive convoy traveled along the road east from the Pioneer Fortress.
The convoy was far larger than an ordinary merchant caravan. It had more than twenty wagons for hauling heavy goods alone, and an entire production line for manufacturing firearms had been dismantled and was being transported piece by piece, like ants carrying off their spoils.
This was only a small part of the production lines the Cape family had acquired from Xike City. As the capital of the Bosia Confederacy, Xike City's industrial capacity could not compare to the "Bourbon Industrial Belt" within the Plantagenet Kingdom, but by Transia's standards, it was already second to none.
Sadly, all that past glory had faded with time.
This production line was a gift meant to demonstrate "good faith" to the territory of Governor Murphy. The timing was carefully planned: they wouldn't send over all the production lines before the factory was finished, which would be a terrible waste.

This was only the first shipment.
If the preliminary cooperation with Governor Murphy went smoothly, the remaining production lines would be delivered to the right locations even faster.
The Plantagenet Kingdom's official plans for steam railway tracks were advancing steadily toward East Prussia. The Cape family and several other great nobles were providing part of the funding for the project. Once the railway reached the Pioneer Fortress, this land would forever belong to King Louis.
Just as the people of Transia couldn't understand how the northerners had conquered the Great Wilderness against seemingly impossible odds, the northerners couldn't understand how the Plantagenet Kingdom had so quickly absorbed its newly acquired power and transformed
