At the iron fence on the outskirts of the Forest of Death, the ever-present gatekeepers Shunshin Kotetsu and Izumo, along with an unnamed Chunin, stared at the three Grass Village ninja lying dead on the ground and fell into deep thought.
The unnamed Chunin asked in confusion, "Why can't I tell what ninjutsu killed these three?"
Izumo crouched down and examined the bodies. Their faces had been completely disfigured.
"How cruel! Their faces are gone."
