Sure enough, Hao Shuai's repeated provocations had finally pushed Loki over the edge. Enraged and beside himself, Loki no longer cared about anything else. He took control of the Bifrost, activated its planet-destroying mode, and fired from Asgard straight at Hao Shuai on Earth.
Hao Shuai suddenly sensed an enormous energy locking onto him. In an instant, he raised both hands, and a massive black-and-white Tai Chi diagram appeared above them.
BOOM!
The moment the Tai Chi diagram took shape, a dazzling, multicolored beam, like a mighty river, plunged from the sky and struck the spot where Hao Shuai stood.
The beam continued pouring down without pause. It had been blasting for nearly five minutes, and still it didn't let up.
The ground beneath Hao Shuai's feet had cracked apart, and both his knees were buried deep in the earth.
Just as he was growing tired of the endless attack, the multicolored beam pouring down like a mighty river finally stopped!
"Heh heh~~ Loki, you're finished!" Hao Shuai pulled himself out of the ground, secretly delighted.
"Hao Shuai, are you all right?" Thor and the others ran over and asked with concern.
"I'm fine—but Asgard's in trouble." Hao Shuai looked as if things had gotten out of hand. "You actually dared to use a planet-destroying weapon to bombard Earth. What, are you trying to destroy the planet?"
"No! Of course not!" Thor denied it, sweating profusely. "This was all Loki's doing."
The Thor of old wouldn't have been so meek. But after seeing Hao Shuai easily block even the Bifrost's bombardment, he understood.
At last, Thor had come to his senses.
He knew that even at the peak of his strength, he would be no match for Hao Shuai. His only hope was his father, the King of the Gods,
