After returning to the Sun Moon Holy Cult from Hangzhou, Hao Shuai began a life of wits and battles with Dongfang Bai on Black Wood Cliff.

Alice was helpless at Hao Shuai's shamelessness and couldn't be bothered to deal with him. She walked out of the bedroom, preparing to find something in the villa to prove her identity. Hao Shuai followed closely behind.

As they reached the main hall, a flashbang shattered the glass and was thrown inside. Hao Shuai closed his eyes, enveloped himself with Psychic Power, and knew the mercenaries were about to appear.

Hao Shuai had considered using force to compel James and the other mercenaries to cooperate in entering The Hive to retrieve the main board. However, he knew nothing about the high-tech inside The Hive. If they didn't cooperate and even ganged up to trick him, Hao Shuai wasn't afraid, but he worried it would affect his ability to get the main board, so he decided to play it safe for now.

While Hao Shuai was pondering, several mercenaries in combat gear crashed through the floor-to-ceiling window and rushed in. One of them immediately aimed his gun at him. Hao Shuai immediately raised his hands in surrender, while the others spread out and began searching the villa.

Soon, the mercenaries returned, escorting a white man. Hao Shuai recognized him immediately; it must be Matt. He wondered when he had arrived at the villa.

He glanced at Alice and saw that the mercenary captain, James, was questioning her. Alice claimed to know nothing. A medic explained to the captain that Alice might be suffering from amnesia.

"Who are you?"

The captain walked up to Hao Shuai, bent down, and asked in a low voice.

"I don't know who I am either. As soon as I woke up, I was lying in bed with her," Hao Shuai said sincerely, pointing at Alice.

"The computer can't find any information on him," Kaplan, the tech specialist among the mercenaries, reported.

At this moment, Matt, who had been interrogated on the other side, was brought back.

"We're running out of time. Should we lock them up?"

James removed his mask. "No, bring them all."

The person escorting him also removed their mask; it was a woman, presumably Rain.

Spence grimaced and replied, "Three!"

"Very good!" The medic continued, "Now, tell me your name."

Spence thought for a moment, his eyes widening. "I, I don't know."

"He's fine," the medic turned to James. "He's lost his memory, just like those two."

Beside them, Alice's mind drifted as the medic questioned Spence. Memories began to surface in her mind.
