"What do you want? Hand over the stuff! I don't want to fight you."

Hao Shuai's actions immediately caused James and the others to point their guns at him, and Rain shouted at him.

"It seems you all have a lot of opinions!" Hao Shuai ignored Rain's warning, activated his psychic power directly, and pinned everyone to the floor instantly, while also confiscating all the weapons from James and the other mercenaries into his space.

"There are still survivors!" Rain exclaimed excitedly.

"Survivors? Heh heh," Hao Shuai sneered, pulled out a handgun, and fired two shots at the middle-aged man's legs, directly breaking them.

"You're crazy! Do you have any humanity? You can even lay hands on innocent people." Rain, with her fiery temper, forgot Hao Shuai's brutality and roared in anger.

"Then watch closely, this is the zombie I was talking about." Hao Shuai didn't bother with Rain's attitude.

As they spoke, the middle-aged man got up again, raised his pale head, opened his blood-red mouth, and staggered towards them with flailing limbs.

Hao Shuai fired five more shots at him, each hitting his chest and abdomen, but he could still stand and slowly shuffle forward.

"Look at his blood!" Hao Shuai said to James.

By shutting down Red Queen earlier, we released all the zombies," Hao Shuai explained patiently.

James was speechless upon learning that shutting down Red Queen would release the zombies. Rain became even more furious and said, "You knew shutting down Red Queen was dangerous, why didn't you stop us earlier!"

"Why should I have stopped you? Not to mention my goal was the same as yours – Red Queen's main board. Even if I had stopped you earlier, would you have listened to me? And even if Red Queen hadn't been shut down, the T-Virus would still have leaked out of the Hive," Hao Shuai said, giving Rain a blank look.

"Why?" Rain asked curiously.

James and the others knew that even if Hao Shuai had stopped them earlier, they wouldn't have listened. After all, as the saying goes: people don't shed tears until they see their own coffin! However, when Hao Shuai said that whether Red Queen was shut down or not, the result would be the same, they still looked at him strangely.

Hao Shuai shook his head and said, "Red Queen only thought that sealing the Hive would prevent the virus from leaking, but she didn't consider that the Hive is underground. With so many snakes, insects, rats, and ants here, it's estimated that the virus has already spread to the outside world by now, and no one can stop it."
