Hao Shuai had been able to fly before, but he'd used either telekinesis or the Flight Technique. The former was too taxing, while the latter consumed too much energy. Superman's flight, on the other hand, was effortless and could continue to improve until he could fly faster than light.
Then there was his steel body, which could withstand any physical attack and might one day even survive a star's explosion. He could fly into the sun's core without being harmed;
his Super Vision could see through objects on Earth and spot anything anywhere on the planet. It could even see through the universe, as well as peer down to the microscopic level—even down to individual molecules;
his Super Hearing could pick out any sound he wanted to hear anywhere on Earth. It could continue to improve until he could hear sounds across interstellar distances, with hearing that surpassed the speed of sound;
his Super Strength could continue to grow until he could use his own power to pull at least a dozen planets;
his Super Speed had already reached Mach 8. It could continue to improve until he could exceed the speed of light and break through the barriers of time to travel into the past;
and, of course, Superman's signature abilities: inhaling a vast amount of air and exhaling a hurricane; compressing the air in his lungs and breathing it out to freeze objects with Ice Breath; and firing Heat Vision from his eyes, which could melt anything on Earth. That ability could continue to grow until it could melt or vaporize almost any substance, reaching temperatures hotter than the sun's core.
