When Frederick received word of the Black Pine Town incident, it was already 1038.

After sailing nonstop in a wide arc around the western side of the continent, the fleet arrived at Lacobriga City in the Kingdom of Tarraco.

Lacobriga City was now the logistics base for the Western Front Corps of the Wesen Army. A steel mill and a machine factory were under construction there, along with a shipyard for repairing naval transport ships.

The fleet made its final stop here to rest and prepare for the voyage south to the Southern Continent.

This was all part of the established plan. Representatives from many departments of the Duchy of Weissen had arrived with documents, waiting for Frederick to handle official business.

1938 was the opening year of the Duchy of Weissen's Third Five-Year Plan and the first year of the Maria Plan. Some documents required Frederick's personal signature.

Many nobles from the Kingdom of Tarraco's interior had come to Lacobriga City, openly or discreetly, to see what a train was like. Their positions in the civil war depended on it.

Frederick's arrival excited them. They held more banquets and balls than he could count, leaving his back a little sore.
