Li ChunJun and his younger sister, Li Wanqing, were raised in an ordinary family after their parents divorced. Their family was investigated as having no influential background or cultivation connections; Li ChunJun was initially known as a quiet student. 2 3

After being expelled and framed, he returned to his family courtyard to find it besieged by Samsung Property Company. He killed the attackers—including the Inner Strength martial artist Thunder and company president Shen Zhengxian—burned down his home, and left with the declared intention of cultivating immortality. 2 3

His violent retaliation against the Jin Family and its allies made him the target of a citywide martial-arts kill order and arrest warrant.
