"Melt apart!"
With a thought, Lu Feng controlled the Blood-colored War Corpse and had it tear at the thick iron chains bound around the coffin.
Yet he discovered that even when the Blood-colored War Corpse unleashed the Bone Phosphorous Divine Palm, leaving flickering blue phosphorous flames upon the chains, it still failed to burn them apart.
This sight filled Lu Feng's eyes with shock.
One had to know that with the Blood-colored War Corpse's current strength, even a Heaven-grade Treasure Item would find it difficult to withstand such an assault without suffering the slightest damage.
Yet these were merely iron chains binding a coffin, and they had endured it!
Their quality was clearly anything but ordinary.
A flicker of unease rose in Lu Feng's heart, and his original suspicions shifted accordingly.
Judging by the quality of these chains, they were plainly no ordinary objects. Such valuables should not have been abandoned amid this heap of corpses.
Using them merely to bind a person in a coffin who had died from virulent poison or some other cause was far too extravagant and made little sense.
Then...
If that suspicion did not hold...
Did that mean the coffin before him, unlike those heaps of white bones and corpses, had not been discarded here? It had been deliberately placed here. Perhaps even the purpose of these chains was not to prevent poison mist or something similar from leaking out of the coffin, but because they feared that the person inside might escape?
Had the person inside been buried alive?
Could the coffin be imprisoning the tomb owner's mortal enemy?
Had such high-quality chains been used in the hope of trapping that enemy alive inside this coffin until they died?
If that was the purpose behind this arrangement...
Lu Feng subconsciously issued an order
