Background
Origins and identity
Huang Helou identified Lu Feng as the “Lu Feng” of the Northern Nether Spirit Prison, connecting him to the Clear River Sect and revealing his position as its Young Sect Master. The disclosure forced the Five Sects to reassess him as an equal rather than a useful unknown. 99
Lu Feng’s identity as the Night Feather Sword Master was later exposed during the conflict surrounding Zhou Wangtian’s Corpse Refining Evil Array. Jun Ziyi learned that the master she followed and the legendary swordsman were the same person. 129
Ghost Gate was founded by Lu Feng’s parents. Its surviving elders have repeatedly withheld the full truth of his lineage until he reaches the Heaven Soul Realm; Lu Feng learned that his mother was captured after her cultivation was crippled and that his father was injured while pursuing her captors. 541 1591
His Blood Clan nature surfaced when Demonic Qi overwhelmed him during his battle with Fan Yuchun. Later revelations concerning his human-beast form and unusual inherited aura strengthened his resolve to seek answers in Beast Valley. 1402 1552
Array training
Lu Feng initially refused to become Old Bai’s formal disciple, but accepted his instruction in the Array Dao. Old Bai taught him the foundations of array deployment: array diagrams, cores, Array Jade, inscriptions, weapons, souls, Spirit Infusion, Vein Connection, and Array Chants. 793 910
His comprehension quickly became exceptional. He broke Old Bai’s Entrapment Array after more than two hours of analysis, successfully engraved a reversed pattern, and received the Kirin Ring Wrist Guard as his first gift from his master. 793
Personality
Lu Feng combines a teacher’s patience with an Asura-like ruthlessness toward enemies. He distributes resources according to each student’s needs, designs trials that test both strength and character, and personally adjusts training plans for individual weaknesses. 154 1294 1399
He believes mercy must be balanced by decisive violence. He teaches that an enemy who has earned death should not be spared, and his calm execution of hostile opponents has repeatedly unsettled even his own students. 768
In battle, Lu Feng prefers preparation, concealment, and exploiting an opponent’s assumptions. He often hides array plates beforehand, uses feigned weakness to create openings, and avoids revealing the full extent of his abilities unless necessary. 285 562 1582
Despite his guarded nature, he is protective of those under his care. He risks himself for Xiao Wan, Ye Fan, Jiang Ruoyun, his disciples, and the Azure Mountain Sword Sect even when doing so exposes his own secrets. 663 1117 1284 1841

- Extreme Star Sky Evolution Art — Allows him to manipulate Jade Pearls and release attacks capable of threatening early Earth Soul Realm opponents, but consumes immense spiritual energy. 12 1265
- Evil-Dispelling Spirit Eyes — Reveals concealed identities, disguise flaws, cultivation, and spiritual-energy circulation. 286 493 1435
- White Hair anomaly — A spiritual-energy creature within his body that purges toxins, including beast poisons, but cannot neutralize poisons made by humans. 227 1552

- Human-beast meridians — Developed meridians suited to both human and beast cultivation, enabling prolonged Spirit Burning and broader use of beast-type arts. 1904
