The defenses at Golden Radiance Ridge had been restored, with Pei Duo still guarding the site. Once the replacement disciples arrived, Su Yu and the others were finally able to return to the sect to rest and recuperate.
The flying boat had barely landed when the disciples guarding the mountain recognized him.

They hurriedly bowed, their expressions deeply respectful. Su Yu nodded in acknowledgment and climbed the stone steps with Xu Zheng. Hushed voices soon sounded behind them.
"That's Su Yu?"
"Who else could it be? I heard Lu Qian and Xue Zhong both lost to him. He and several elders also retook the occupied mine at Golden Radiance Ridge."
"He can even defeat Bridge Forging experts! There probably aren't many elders in the sect who can match that kind of strength!"
Word of Su Yu's achievements on the front lines had long since reached the sect.
