Ch. 321Xuan Duobao's Innocence

Xiao advised Laozi to strengthen the Human Race Fortune and warned Xuandu not to forget his origins. At Kunlun Mountain, Xuandu was welcomed by the Three Pure Ones and learned that he was the Mystic Gate’s senior martial brother, with Duobao as his junior.

  • Xiao told Laozi that increasing the Human Race’s fortune would strengthen his share, then warned Xuandu to remain loyal to the Human Race.
  • Laozi returned to Kunlun Mountain with Xuandu, where Yuanshi and Tongtian saw his wound and heard him accept Nuwa’s punishment.
  • Laozi introduced Xuandu as his disciple, and Yuanshi gave him armor while Tongtian gave him an Earth Spirit Pearl.
  • Xuandu offered to give the pearl to Laozi, prompting the Three Pure Ones to laugh and reassure him that he should keep it.
  • Tongtian explained that Xuandu ranked ahead of Duobao as the Mystic Gate’s senior martial brother because he was Laozi’s disciple and the foremost member of the third generation.

Ch. 322Yuanshi Became a Saint, Tongtian Was Lost

Yuanshi became a saint by founding the Chan Sect, while Tongtian struggled to choose between sainthood and his dream of attaining Primordial Grand Luo Golden Immortal. Xiao advised Tongtian to become a saint first and explained how he might later pursue the Great Dao, leaving Tongtian stunned by the difficulty of that path.

  • Laozi reminded Yuanshi and Tongtian that founding a sect was necessary to become saints, and Yuanshi established the Chan Sect with the Pangu Banner suppressing its auspicious qi.
  • Yuanshi urged Tongtian to become a saint, but Tongtian resisted because he wanted to attain Primordial Grand Luo Golden Immortal instead.
  • Laozi and Yuanshi brought Tongtian to the Human Race to seek Xiao's guidance, and Xiao clarified that he was not Xuan Qing or the Dao Venerable they sought.
  • Xiao told Tongtian that he could become a saint first because his path differed from his brothers', then explained that he would need to transform his laws and move his Dao Fruit from the River of Heavenly Dao to the River of Great Dao.
  • Tongtian questioned whether Xiao was joking, since breaking free after entrusting his Dao Fruit to the Heavenly Dao seemed impossible.

Ch. 323Five Saints All Emerge

Tongtian accepted the Heavenly Dao’s control and established the Jie Sect, while Jieyin and Zhunti became saints by founding the Western Teach and making forty-eight great vows. Hong Yun remained the only recipient of Primordial Violet Qi who had not become a saint, as the Prehistoric Era settled into calm and living beings sought places in the new sects.

  • Xiao told Tongtian that accepting the Primordial Violet Qi left him no way to escape becoming a saint, and Laozi and Yuanshi abandoned thoughts of breaking free from the Heavenly Dao.
  • Back at Kunlun Mountain, Tongtian lifted his suppression of the Primordial Violet Qi, endured the Heavenly Dao’s flood of laws, and established the Jie Sect with the Immortal-Slaying Sword Formation as its supreme treasure.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti established the Western Teach, but their initial merit left them stuck at the perfection of the Quasi-Saint realm.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti followed Karma’s advice and made forty-eight great vows, earning enough Heavenly Dao merit to attain sainthood.
  • Hong Yun did not become a saint at Wuzhuang Temple, while the five new saints entered secluded cultivation and Grand Luo Golden Immortals began emerging to seek discipleship.

Ch. 324Luohu Attains the Dao

Luohu attained sainthood in the Heavenly Demon Realm and accepted a message sent through the Jade Disc of Creation. As Hong Yun remained unable to use his Primordial Violet Qi, Ming He and Kunpeng began plotting to seize it.

  • Luohu became a Saint, celebrated with the Demon Race, and vowed to lead them back to the Primordial Land.
  • Hongjun dismissed Luohu as no threat while the Jade Disc of Creation secretly sent a message to Luohu, who accepted its proposal.
  • Zhen Yuanzi questioned Hong Yun about his stalled path to sainthood, and an unnoticed wisp of Black Qi entered Hong Yun's Primordial Spirit.
  • Ming He failed to attain the Dao by establishing the Asura Teachings and decided to kill Hong Yun for his Primordial Violet Qi.
  • Kunpeng also coveted Hong Yun's Primordial Violet Qi and began looking for a chance to leave the Heavenly Court.

Ch. 325Kunpeng's Surprise Attack

Kunpeng left the Heavenly Court to pursue Hong Yun’s Primordial Violet Qi, while Di Jun prepared to trap Hong Yun with the Ten Great Demon Gods. After Hong Yun left Wuzhuang Temple, Kunpeng ambushed him, and his mention of Zhunti and Jieyin stirred their karma.

  • Kunpeng persuaded Di Jun to let him return to the North Sea, and Di Jun arranged to pursue Hong Yun without informing Fuxi.
  • Hong Yun left Wuzhuang Temple despite Zhen Yuanzi’s warning, and Demon Clan spies reported his departure.
  • Han Xi left Zhou Mountain after speaking with Han Li, while Ming He and Kunpeng waited near Wuzhuang Temple and a black-robed figure followed them.
  • Kunpeng ambushed Hong Yun, but Hong Yun countered with the Nine-Nine Soul Scattering Gourd and demanded to know why he had attacked.
  • Kunpeng blamed Hong Yun for losing his chance to become a Saint, and Hong Yun said Zhunti and Jieyin had taken his seat, stirring their karma on Western Mount Sumeru.

Ch. 326Red Cloud's Fall

Red Cloud was betrayed by Ming He and Kunpeng while Luohu tried to draw him into the demonic path, but Yang Mei intervened to protect his True Spirit for Xuan Qing. Rather than let anyone take his Primordial Violet Qi, Red Cloud tore it from his Primordial Spirit and detonated his Origin, leaving Jieyin and Zhunti to suffer severe karmic backlash before declaring their debt to him repaid.

  • Jieyin and Zhunti chose to endure the karmic backlash instead of rescuing Red Cloud, while Ming He planned to strike during his fight with Kunpeng and Luohu sought to guide him into the demonic path.
  • Ming He ambushed Red Cloud with Yuantu and Abi as Kunpeng struck him with the Demon Master Palace, leaving Red Cloud gravely wounded.
  • Luohu encouraged Red Cloud's resentment until Yang Mei confronted him and warned him to leave Red Cloud alone because he was useful to Xuan Qing.
  • Red Cloud realized his pursuit of freedom had led him to ruin, tore the Primordial Violet Qi from his sea of consciousness, and detonated his Origin rather than let Kunpeng and Ming He claim it.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti suffered severe karmic backlash from Red Cloud's death, then declared that they no longer owed him anything.

Ch. 327Shanhai's Dominance

Shanhai seized Hong Yun’s crimson gourd from Ming He and Kunpeng, then battled the Heavenly Court’s forces when they tried to claim it. Han Xi intervened before Shanhai could defeat Di Jun and Tai Yi, and explained that the Primordial Violet Qi had already been assigned by the Heavenly Dao.

  • Ming He and Kunpeng fought over Hong Yun’s crimson gourd until Shanhai snatched it, hoping to trade it to Zhen Yuanzi for the Earth Book.
  • Shanhai defeated Ming He and Kunpeng and tried to take their scattered Spiritual Treasures, but Tai Yi and Di Jun arrived with the Heavenly Court’s demon gods.
  • Shanhai repelled the Heavenly Court’s formation and Chaos Bell, then overwhelmed Di Jun and Tai Yi with the Mountain Sea Scroll.
  • Han Xi appeared, erased Shanhai’s attack, and caught the Mountain Sea Scroll before it could crush the Heavenly Court’s forces.
  • Han Xi told the gathered powers that the Heavenly Dao had chosen the Primordial Violet Qi’s destined recipient and criticized them for failing to understand the Method of Severing Three Bodies.

Ch. 328Zhen Yuanzi's Grief

Han Xi seized Shanhai and Hong Yun’s Soul Scattering Gourd, while the others gave up their pursuit of the Primordial Violet Qi. After learning that Hong Yun had died, Zhen Yuanzi attacked Ming He’s Blood Sea, then left to seek Hong Yun’s possessions from Di Jun and Kunpeng.

  • Han Xi captured Shanhai, revealed that he had once harmed her sister, and took Hong Yun’s Soul Scattering Gourd.
  • Di Jun let Kunpeng return to the North Sea, then left with Tai Yi and the Ten Great Demon Gods as Ming He returned to the Netherworld Sea of Blood.
  • Zhen Yuanzi sensed that his Karma with Hong Yun had ended, found the place where Hong Yun had fallen, and vowed to recover his possessions.
  • Zhen Yuanzi struck Ming He’s Blood Sea with the Earth Book, killing members of the Asura Clan and provoking Ming He to attack.
  • Ming He swore that he had never obtained Hong Yun’s belongings, so Zhen Yuanzi left to pursue Di Jun and Kunpeng.

Ch. 329Fuxi's Disappointment

Zhen Yuanzi attacked the Heavenly Court over its seizure of Hong Yun's Primordial Violet Qi, while Di Jun and Tai Yi refused to accept responsibility. Fuxi confronted them, then withdrew from Heavenly Court affairs, leaving Di Jun intent on pursuing the path of auspicious qi.

  • Zhen Yuanzi left the Blood Sea and confronted Di Jun at the South Heaven Gate, killing a guard who approached him.
  • Di Jun and Tai Yi challenged Zhen Yuanzi, who sealed the South Heaven Gate with the Earth Book Array and bombarded the Heavenly Court.
  • Fuxi arrived and realized Zhen Yuanzi's attack was likely over Hong Yun's Primordial Violet Qi, then asked Di Jun whether he had seized it.
  • Tai Yi defended Di Jun's decision, and Di Jun let Tai Yi rebuke Fuxi rather than stop him.
  • Fuxi told Di Jun he had disappointed him and returned to seclusion, deciding to stop involving himself in Heavenly Court affairs.
  • Di Jun resolved to pursue the Dao through auspicious qi, while Bai Ze warned that he had wounded Fuxi.

Ch. 330Zhen Yuanzi Blocks the South Heaven Gate

Zhen Yuanzi blocked the South Heaven Gate while demanding Hong Yun’s belongings, refusing Di Jun’s claim that Saint Han Xi had taken them. As Han Xi and the others watched, they discussed Hong Yun’s past and hinted that Nuwa might become a Human Dao Primordial Chaos Great Luo.

  • Di Jun told Bai Ze he had no choice but to act against Fuxi, and Zhen Yuanzi mocked him before demanding Hong Yun’s belongings.
  • Di Jun said Kunpeng and Ming He had killed Hong Yun and that Saint Han Xi had taken the Soul Scattering Gourd and Primordial Violet Qi, but Zhen Yuanzi disbelieved him and blocked the South Heaven Gate for over a hundred thousand years.
  • Xi He tried to pass through the gate to visit Chang Xi, but Zhen Yuanzi refused to let her through unless Di Jun surrendered Hong Yun’s belongings.
  • Xi He repeated that Saint Han Xi had the items, but Zhen Yuanzi sealed his six senses and left her trapped at the gate.
  • On Zhou Mountain, Han Xi and Xuan Qing explained how Hunkun’s influence had shaped Hong Yun, and Han Xi suggested that Nuwa could become a Human Dao Primordial Chaos Great Luo.

Ch. 331Shanhai's End

Han Li avenged herself on Shanhai and entered seclusion after gaining insights that could bring another breakthrough. Han Xi summoned Zhen Yuanzi to Zhou Mountain, where he learned that Hong Yun’s belongings were at Azure Dawn Palace and met Wang Shu.

  • Han Xi released Shanhai, and Han Li destroyed his body before trapping his Primordial Spirit in the Mysterious Origin Water Control Banner.
  • After repaying her vengeance, Han Li returned to Azure Dawn Palace to enter seclusion, and Wang Shu asked Han Xi to summon Zhen Yuanzi.
  • Han Xi told Zhen Yuanzi that Hong Yun’s belongings were with her, prompting him to leave Xi He and warn the Demon Clan to stay away from Longevity Mountain.
  • Zhen Yuanzi climbed Zhou Mountain and paid his respects to Han Xi, Nuwa, and Wang Shu at Azure Dawn Palace.
  • Wang Shu clarified that she had no connection to the Heavenly Court beyond being Xi He’s Teacher.

Ch. 332Zhen Yuanzi Comes Calling

Han Xi returned Hong Yun’s Soul Scattering Gourd to Zhen Yuanzi and revealed that Hong Yun’s True Spirit remained inside, giving him hope of recovery. Meanwhile, rumors that Di Jun had obtained the Primordial Violet Qi strengthened the Demon Clan, while the Ancestral Witches doubted the rumor and Houtu continued pursuing contact with the Human Race.

  • Han Xi returned Hong Yun’s Soul Scattering Gourd to Zhen Yuanzi and told him to nurture the True Spirit inside with the Three Lights Divine Water.
  • Zhen Yuanzi thanked Han Xi, promised not to leave Wuzhuang Temple, and sealed it off with the gourd.
  • The Primordial Great Powers speculated that Di Jun had obtained the Primordial Violet Qi, and rumors of his impending breakthrough drew more races to the Demon Clan.
  • Houtu argued to the Ancestral Witches that the widely spread rumor was likely a Demon Clan ploy, and Di Jiang dismissed their fears.
  • Di Jiang threw Zhu Rong and Gonggong out of Pangu Hall after their insults sparked an argument.
  • Houtu told Di Jiang that her tribe had begun contacting the Human Race and that she would report back.

Ch. 333Houyi's Plan

Houyi and Xing Tian approached the Human Race on Ancestral Witch Houtu’s orders, offering help and a vast supply of prey to build trust. Sui Ren Shi accepted the gift but remained uncertain about the Witch Clan’s motives as the Three Ancestors considered what the powerful tribe could want from them.

  • Houyi stopped Xing Tian from startling the Human Race and politely asked to speak with Sui Ren Shi.
  • Houyi told Sui Ren Shi that Ancestral Witch Houtu wanted to establish relations with the Human Race and help them gain a foothold.
  • Houyi and Xing Tian presented several piles of powerful prey, which Sui Ren Shi accepted on behalf of the Human Race.
  • Houyi explained to Xing Tian that the prey would help the Human Race grow stronger and eventually lead them to seek Witch Clan techniques.
  • After the Human Race hauled the prey back, You Chao Shi questioned the Witch Clan’s motives, and Sui Ren Shi wondered what the Witch Clan could want from them.

Ch. 334Xi He "Pregnant"

Sui Ren Shi agreed to Houyi’s plan for the Witch Clan to teach the Human Race, and the two races established a shared territory. Back on the Lunar Star, Xi He reunited with Chang Xi and revealed that she was carrying a child conceived with Di Jun, prompting Chang Xi to rush off to confront him.

  • Sui Ren Shi led humans to ask Houyi to teach them hunting, and Houyi proposed a place where humans and witches could live and learn together.
  • Sui Ren Shi accepted the Witch Clan’s offer of help, and the two races built a territory beyond the Yellow River Basin.
  • Nuwa worried that the Human Race’s calamity might be eased by the Witch Clan, but Han Xi explained that the Human Race would still face trials as it grew.
  • Xi He returned to the Lunar Star and reunited with Chang Xi, who joyfully told her about the Jade Rabbits she had raised.
  • Chang Xi sensed another living being’s aura on Xi He, and Xi He revealed that she was carrying Di Jun’s child.
  • Chang Xi assumed Di Jun had mistreated Xi He and tried to take her to the Solar Star to demand justice.

Ch. 335The Saints Open Their Schools

The Three Pure Ones opened Kunlun Mountain to disciples through a trial, while Zhunti and Jieyin tried to attract followers by expounding the Dao at Mount Sumeru. The chapter ended with crowds gathering at Kunlun Mountain and claiming places in the range before the Three Pure Ones opened their Dao Field.

  • Chang Xi stayed with Xi He on Taiyin while Xi He kept her pregnancy from her husband until the child was born.
  • The Three Pure Ones announced a trial at Kunlun Mountain for those who wished to join their sect.
  • Zhunti and Jieyin invited all beings to hear their exposition of the Dao at Mount Sumeru, but beings from other continents continued toward Kunlun Mountain.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti decided to lift restrictions on the Transformation Dao after their exposition so Western Teach would not be embarrassed by its untransformed followers.
  • Beings crowded around Kunlun Mountain and began claiming unoccupied areas while the Three Pure Ones' Dao Field remained closed.

Ch. 336Chan and Jie Take Disciples

After outsiders disturbed West Kunlun, Tongtian defended Queen Mother of the West’s territory and later opened Kunlun Mountain for the Three Pure Ones to recruit disciples. Yuanshi set a demanding staircase trial, while Tongtian welcomed any being who passed his Formation; Laozi’s Human Teachings accepted only humans.

  • Queen Mother of the West drove intruders from West Kunlun, and Tongtian apologized and warned beings not to trespass there.
  • Several thousand years later, Kunlun Mountain’s gates opened, and Yuanshi announced that disciples could choose among the Three Pure Ones by passing a ten-thousand-step trial.
  • Yuanshi set strict standards for joining his sect, while Tongtian offered a Formation trial for entry into the Jie Sect.
  • Yuanshi explained that only members of the Human Race could join Laozi’s Human Teachings, leaving most of the gathered beings to seek entry into the Jie Sect.

Ch. 337Passing the Test

Tongtian’s trial admitted a large group of beings into the Jie Sect, while Yuanshi accepted several candidates who passed the steps into the Chan Sect. The chapter left Yuanshi reluctantly facing the question of whether to accept Huang Long, whose Dragon form displeased him.

  • Xuandu and Duobao worried that Tongtian’s simple Formation would admit many beings, including those burdened by Karmic Sin, but agreed not to interfere with his decision.
  • A tiger-headed, human-bodied monster and many other beings passed Tongtian’s Formation, and Tongtian welcomed them into the Jie Sect under the principle of “Teaching without discrimination.”
  • Tongtian introduced Duobao as their senior martial brother, and the new disciples eagerly greeted him.
  • Guang Chengzi passed more than nine thousand steps and became Yuanshi’s first Chan Sect disciple; Chi Jingzi and several others followed.
  • Yuanshi showed dissatisfaction when Huang Long passed the trial, but knew that refusing him could invite ridicule.

Ch. 338Ran Deng Joins the Chan Sect

Ran Deng joined Yuanshi’s Chan Sect as its Vice Sect Leader, bringing the Jade Void Glazed Lamp and greatly increasing the sect’s fortune. Yuanshi distributed treasures among his disciples, while Huang Long was left wondering whether his master’s favoritism would shape his future.

  • Zhao Gongming and the San Xiao broke Tongtian’s Formation and paid their respects to him as their master.
  • Ran Deng offered Yuanshi the Jade Void Glazed Lamp and entered the Chan Sect as its Vice Sect Leader.
  • Yuanshi told the Twelve Golden Immortals and Immortal Nanji to treat Ran Deng with the courtesy due a teacher, prompting them to bow to him.
  • Yuanshi hung the Jade Void Glazed Lamp outside Jade Void Palace, and the Chan Sect’s fortune increased.
  • Yuanshi named Guang Chengzi senior martial brother and bestowed Spiritual Treasures on his disciples, but gave Huang Long and Ran Deng no treasures.

Ch. 339Tongtian's Wealth

Tongtian appointed senior disciples and bestowed Spiritual Treasures on them, then opened a Treasure Pavilion for the rest of the Jie Sect to search. He warned his disciples that joining his sect would not protect them from powerful enemies, leaving them with a reminder to rely on their own strength.

  • Ran Deng was left alone after Guang Chengzi and the Twelve Golden Immortals departed, and he began plotting to exploit Huang Long's lack of a Spiritual Treasure.
  • Tongtian appointed Jin Ling as the Jie Sect's senior sister and gave her and Wudang several Spiritual Treasures and duties.
  • Tongtian named Zhao Gongming the chief Outer Sect Disciple and rewarded him and the San Xiao sisters with Spiritual Treasures.
  • Tongtian opened the Treasure Pavilion and let the remaining disciples take the Spiritual Treasures stored inside.
  • Tongtian and Duobao warned Bi Xiao and the other disciples that powerful figures might still threaten them, and that strength was essential.

Ch. 340Jie Sect Arrangements

Tongtian arranged for the Jie Sect disciples to settle around Biyou Palace and promised to expound the Dao in a thousand years. After the disciples gathered to hear the Saints teach, Laozi asked Xuandu to choose a cultivation path, and Xuandu said he wanted to refine pills and help the Human Race reach the Grand Luo Golden Immortal realm.

  • Tongtian told the disciples that they would forget the Dao Venerable's existence unless they became stronger, then urged them to seek their own Spiritual Treasures and cultivate diligently.
  • Tongtian instructed the disciples to find cave abodes and announced that he would expound the Dao in a thousand years.
  • Duobao warned the Jie Sect disciples not to settle toward Jade Void Palace, then led Jin Ling, Yunxiao, Qiong Xiao, and Bi Xiao to excellent cave abodes he had found with Xuandu.
  • The disciples chose their cave abodes and, a thousand years later, gathered as the Saints began expounding the Dao to their followers.
  • Laozi asked Xuandu what path he wanted to cultivate, and Xuandu chose pill refinement so he could help the Human Race reach the Grand Luo Golden Immortal realm.
