Zhou Xiaoqin, who named himself Xuan Qing, drifted through Chaos and learned that his unusual Primordial Spirit could repel attacks and even wound the Karma Demon God. When Pangu began the Heaven-Opening Tribulation, Xuan Qing watched the Demon Gods fall, and Pangu recognized him as an anomaly tied to Time, Space, and Supreme Destiny before explaining the Supreme Laws.

Xuan Qing and Han Xi crossed the Nine Heavens Gale Layer, where Han Xi tempered her body and found the Wind-Quelling Pearl. In the Primordial Starry Sky, they discovered Fierce Beasts draining a star’s origin to nurture Starry Sky Giant Beasts, and Xuan Qing confronted the creatures responsible.

  • A chained Black-Robed Man woke and cursed whoever had ruined his plans before falling asleep again.

Xuan Qing and Han Xi fought their way through the Starry Sky Giant Beasts, then discovered their Great Commander was attempting a breakthrough. Xuan Qing ambushed it before it could succeed, leaving it badly injured and reduced to the Peak Primordial Unity Golden Immortal realm as their confrontation began.
