After the Measure Tribulation, Xuan Qing ordered the Three Pure Ones, Zhunti, and Jieyin to come to his Dao Field and answer for their inaction. They arrived at Azure Nether Island, where they discovered its inhabitants lived peacefully and that the island suppressed the Heavenly Dao while allowing them to sense the Great Dao; Qing Ya then escorted them into the Heart Nurturing Hall.

• The Sky Dome awarded Merit to the Three Pure Ones, Zhunti, and Jieyin, and Xuan Qing told them to come to his Dao Field after helping restore the Prehistoric Era.
• Laozi and the other Saints guided the Weak Water and energy storms away, then traveled to the Azure Nether Sea Domain.
• Yan Ling welcomed the Saints and explained that Xuan Qing had created the sea domain as a refuge for wandering cultivators.
• The Saints entered Azure Nether Island, where the Heavenly Dao's influence weakened and they sensed the Great Dao; they also saw peaceful inhabitants, Quasi-Saints, and rare spiritual roots including the Wutong Tree.

Xuan Qing gathered the powerful figures of the Prehistoric Era to warn them of threats connected to the Return to Void and establish rules to protect the world. He explained the duties of Heavenly Dao Saints and answered Zhunti’s doubts about devouring another cultivator’s Laws.

• Xuan Qing revealed that Shenni’s power came from the Return to Void, and Qing Yue’s restored Sea Calming Divine Pearls confirmed its influence beneath the Sea Eyes.
• Xuan Qing said an unknown being had enabled Shenni to wield that power and warned that the Prehistoric Era needed to grow stronger against future dangers.
• Xuan Qing forbade beings above the Saint realm from fighting within the Prehistoric Era and ordered the Saints not to disrupt its evolution.
• Xuan Qing rebuked Laozi and the others for obeying the Heavenly Dao’s order concerning Zhou Mountain without considering the consequences, then assigned them one hundred Kalpas of reflection.

After the Measure Tribulation ended, Xuan Qing warned the Saints to pursue Great Dao Laws and urged Houtu to prepare for conflict among the Three Daos. The Demon Clan and Witch Clan reeled from their losses as Xuan Qing went to the Underworld to arrange for the souls of the war dead.

Xuan Qing restored the fallen fighters, moved the Thirty-Six Small Worlds into the Underworld, and distributed the promised rewards for the Measure Tribulation. The chapter ended with wandering cultivators praising him while he dismissed their admiration as temporary.

• Xuan Qing used the Law of Creation to restore the True Spirits and souls of those who died on the fierce beast battlefield, then sent them away.
• Xuan Qing asked Earth Dao to move the Thirty-Six Small Worlds into the Netherworld, where they became thirty-six great cities surrounding the Underworld.

• Kunwu confronted Mosquito Daoist over his sabotage of the Western earth veins, struck him down, and warned him never to return to the Western Lands.
• Kunwu hurled Mosquito Daoist out of the Western Continent, and Mosquito Daoist chose to head south in hopes of gaining strength by devouring beings’ Origin.
• Xuan Qing arrived at the Immortal Volcano and spoke with Ancestor Phoenix about his past help to the Phoenix Clan.
• Xuan Qing told Ancestor Phoenix that the Earth Dao’s emergence meant Ancestor Phoenix’s punishment could end, and Ancestor Phoenix rejoiced at the prospect of their reunion.

Xuan Qing freed Ancestor Phoenix from Immortal Volcano and reunited her with the awakened Ancestor Phoenix. He offered Ancestor Phoenix a Saint’s Fruit Position, and she agreed to accept it.

• Xuan Qing explained that Ancestor Phoenix still had to guard Immortal Volcano, then led her through the Chaos Fire to find Ancestor Phoenix’s sleeping Primordial Spirit.

• Xuan Qing left the Southern Continent after advising Ancestor Phoenix and Ancestor Phoenix to help the Prehistoric Era flourish without causing another Measure Tribulation.
• Xuan Qing arrived at the Sea Eye and told Candle Dragon that the Dragon Clan could appear in the Prehistoric Era again.

Han Xi helped Zhen Yuanzi secure Hong Yun’s path to reincarnation and gave him the Mountain Sea Scroll, which fused with his Earth Book into an Innate Supreme Treasure. Later, Xuan Qing moved a continent to the Far West Land as a new home for the Demon Clan, leaving its harsh, miasma-filled environment unchanged as punishment for its past killings.

• Han Xi examined Hong Yun’s True Spirit and took the Nine-Nine Soul Scattering Gourd, promising to help him reincarnate when the time came.
• Han Xi gave Zhen Yuanzi the Mountain Sea Scroll, which fused with his Earth Book and became an Innate Supreme Treasure.

At Zixiao Palace, Hongjun summoned the Saints and Zu Long’s companions to discuss who would govern the Heavenly Court now that the Wu-Demon Measure Tribulation had ended. Yuanshi, Zhunti, and Laozi each proposed a candidate, leaving the debate unresolved.

• Xuan Qing established the Western Demon Continent as a place for the Demon Clan to live and instructed White Tiger to guard the Four Extremes Land.
• Hongjun summoned the Heavenly Dao Saints to Zixiao Palace, where they encountered Zu Long and two other Primordial Origin Golden Immortals.
• Hongjun announced that the Demon Clan would no longer govern the Heavenly Court and asked the group to recommend a new ruler.

Hongjun declared the Human Race the eternal protagonist of heaven and earth, leaving Zhunti regretting his past treatment of them.

• Xuan Qing warned that the Enlightenment Pill could only be taken once, then gave Haotian a portable space made from Nine Heavens Breathing Soil and Three Lights Divine Water for an orchard.
• Hongjun said the Witch Clan would return to Pingxin's Earth Dao and that Xuan Qing had already arranged the Demon Clan's future.

Nuwa secured Fuxi’s place as the Heavenly Emperor, and the Saints began dividing the remaining teaching positions.

• Zhunti asked whether the Saints could benefit from the Eternal Protagonist, prompting Nuwa to warn him against plotting against the Human Race.
• Hongjun said the Human Race’s rise depended on its Human Dao-chosen leaders and allowed the Saints to assist them for merit and favor.
• Laozi claimed the Heavenly Emperor and Earth Emperor positions for the Human Teachings, but the other Saints objected and argued over the allocation.
• Nuwa declared that Fuxi would reincarnate as the Heavenly Emperor, and Hongjun approved her decision.

Xuan Qing finalized plans for the Human Emperor’s teachers, then told Hongjun he would leave the Prehistoric Era after the Three Sovereigns were born and the Human Race had stabilized. Before departing, Xuan Qing gave Hongjun a Jade Talisman for the next Measure Tribulation and went to visit Luohu, who hid from him.

• Houtu reflected on her past efforts to protect the Human Race, and Nuwa reassured her.
• Yuanshi and Tongtian selected the Human Emperor’s teacher and the first and last Five Emperors, leaving the other two positions to Jieyin and Zhunti.

Xuan Qing visited Luohu in the Heavenly Demon Realm and confronted him about his plan to make Di Jun a Demonic Path Saint. He left after warning Luohu that Di Jun must not spread demonic cultivation or wield Saint-level power in the Prehistoric Era, while Di Jun vowed to continue pursuing the path.

• Xuan Qing demanded that Luohu appear, then remarked on how much the Heavenly Demon Realm had strengthened.
• Xuan Qing revealed that he knew Luohu intended to make Di Jun a Demonic Path Saint and said the Three Daos had also noticed Luohu's actions.
• Xuan Qing told Luohu that Di Jun could visit his wife and children but must not display Saint-level power or lead beings into demonic cultivation.
• Xuan Qing said the conflict between the Wu and Demon should end and warned that Di Jun would not see his family if he caused trouble again.

Haotian and Yaochi took over the Heavenly Court after the Saints refused to help, so Haotian secured the Three Tribes’ support by granting them positions and territorial privileges. At the Heavenly Court, Bai Ze agreed to withdraw the Demon Clan but asked where they could go, leaving Haotian and his companions without an answer.

• Haotian and Yaochi thanked their Master, but Yuanshi, Laozi, and Tongtian left without helping, while Zhunti offered aid only if he could establish a Western Heavenly Emperor.
• Zu Long and the Other Two offered the Three Tribes’ support in exchange for positions that would help their clans reduce Karmic Sin, and Haotian agreed.
• Haotian granted the Dragon Clan authority over the Four Seas, promised the Phoenix Clan its territory and auspicious status, and named the Kirin Clan messengers of the earth.
• Haotian and the Three Clan Leaders entered the nearly empty Heavenly Court and encountered Bai Ze at the Lingxiao Treasure Hall.
• Bai Ze accepted the Dao Ancestor’s order to withdraw the Demon Clan but asked where they should go, and Haotian and the others had no answer.

Bai Ze led the Demon Clan out of the Heavenly Court, leaving Haotian to take over an empty realm whose Star Power was falling into disorder. As Yaochi went to stabilize the stars, Haotian discovered that surviving Star God Chang Geng was willing to join the Heavenly Court.

• Bai Ze refused Haotian’s offer to stay, warned him to maintain the Zhou Tian Stars and their influence on the seasons, then left the Heavenly Court with Ying Zhao and the remaining Demon Clan members.
• Haotian asked Zu Long and the other two to send people to regulate Star Power, but they said the Three Tribes could not do so and departed for the Primordial Land.
• Haotian refined the Heavenly Court’s control center and learned that stabilizing Star Power required 365 Star Gods or a Quasi-Saint; Yaochi volunteered to suppress it while Haotian built the Heavenly Court.
• Haotian planted the spiritual roots from Xuan Qing and Hongjun in a garden, where a pool of Three Lights Divine Water appeared.
• Chang Geng, the surviving Star God of the Morning Star, came to the Heavenly Court to ask about the Demon Clan’s departure and agreed to join Haotian.

After becoming Heavenly Emperor, Haotian appointed Chang Geng Grand White Gold Star and sought help stabilizing the stars so the Heavenly Court could be rebuilt. Xi He agreed to help and attend the Court’s reopening, while Wang Shu remained away on Azure Nether Island.

Haotian grew angry over the Three Tribes sending heavily sin-burdened members to the Heavenly Court and resolved to become a Heavenly Dao Saint. Meanwhile, Bai Ze rejected Zhunti and Jieyin’s offer to recruit the Demon Clan, and the Saints planned to wait until the Demon Clan was vulnerable.

• Haotian discussed reopening the Heavenly Court with Yaochi and agreed that they should invite the Saints and powerful Quasi-Saints despite his resentment toward Taiqing and the others.
• The Three Tribes sent members burdened with heavy Karmic Sin to the Heavenly Court, and Haotian assigned them to guard the Heavenly River.
• Haotian complained to Yaochi that the Saints were taking advantage of the Heavenly Court, and Yaochi urged him to endure the pressure and aspire to become a Heavenly Dao Saint.

After the Demon Clan reached Demon Continent, Bai Ze struggled to hold the survivors together as nearly half left for the Western Lands. Zhunti captured the departing demons and forced them to face the Western Teach, leaving them pinned beneath his Saintly aura.

• Bai Ze urged the demons to endure Demon Continent’s harsh conditions, but nearly half chose to leave despite his warning that they would have no safe territory elsewhere.
• Bai Ze refused Ying Zhao’s suggestion to destroy the deserters, explaining that the Demon Clan could not afford to lose more members and predicting the Human Race would eventually rise to power.
• Bai Ze warned Ying Zhao that Zhunti and Jieyin awaited the deserters in the Western Lands, and the two discussed how the Western Teach would strip its followers of their freedom.
• When the departing demons reached the Western Continent, Zhunti used his Magic Power to bring them to Mount Sumeru and welcomed them to the Western Teach.
