As the lecture began, Hongjun appeared not to look at the listeners below, yet he knew everything happening inside the hall. He also noticed that although Di Jiang seemed to be seated, his mind was not immersed in the Great Dao!
"This one's mind isn't here. He must be plotting something significant. Still, as long as he doesn't disrupt order in the Purple Sky Palace, I'll let him be."
Three thousand years of lectures passed in the blink of an eye!
When the lecture ended, Hongjun did not disappear as he usually did. Instead, he changed the subject and began expounding on the greater trends of the Heavenly Dao. He declared that Saints would soon emerge to oversee the teaching and transformation of living beings and rule the Primordial World, and that the Primordial Violet Qi was the foundation for becoming a Saint!
Next came the most important part of this lecture—taking disciples.
However, unlike the original course of events, Hongjun had already reached a new decision. The greatest variable was Di Jiang, who had twice refused his gifts and bore an immense karmic debt from the creation of the world, making it impossible for Hongjun to sever his connection to Pangu completely.
Since he had been unable to settle his karmic debt with Di Jiang, Hongjun could not merge with the Heavenly Dao and embark on the path of a Heavenly Dao Saint. In light of that, he had revised his original plan to bestow precious treasures and swiftly settle his karmic debts with the Three Pure Ones, thereby completing the structure of the Heavenly Dao.
The Taiji Diagram and Pangu Banner were Innate Supreme Treasures, and they would aid Hongjun in comprehending the Great Dao. The Immortal Slaying Four Swords, meanwhile, could only be broken by four Saints!
