• Origin: Pangu transformed into all things, leaving a world whose origin recognizes his true lineage and Heaven-Opening Merit 1 3.
• Main realm: The Primordial World’s principal realm is associated with growth, yang energy, and the lives of its inhabitants. Its land contains mountains, rivers, and earth veins governed under the Earthly Dao 59 220.
• Affiliated worlds: Great Thousand Worlds, smaller worlds, secret realms, and paradises are attached to the main realm. These worlds have differing laws and environments 16.
• Mount Buzhou: A spiritual treasure land and the center of Di Jiang’s Underworld system. Pangu Divine Hall stands there 5 8 59.
• Nether Blood Sea and Netherworld: The Blood Sea lies on the world’s yin and turbid side. Beneath it, Di Jiang finds the nascent Netherworld, whose distinctive Dao charm concerns the cycle of reincarnation 14 16.
• Four Extremes: The Four Sacred Beasts and their direct descendant clans guard the cardinal directions from Great Thousand Worlds at the Four Extremes, stabilizing Primordial Heaven and Earth 73.

Cosmic Order

The Three Daos

The Heavenly, Earthly, and Human Daos have distinct responsibilities. Their balance supports the world’s development; concentrating too much authority in one of them risks suppressing the others 242.

• Heavenly Dao — Operates through rules and recognizes Di Jiang’s status as Pangu’s true lineage. It investigates treasures removed from their expected causal paths and attempts to reclaim the Chaos Bell, but withdraws when his bloodline and Heaven-Opening Merit protect him 2 3 5.
• Earthly Dao — Holds authority over the land, its veins, mountains, and rivers. Di Jiang becomes its spokesperson and later merges with it; his actions thereafter remain subject to the world’s fundamental rules 59 60 196 197.
• Human Dao — Its fortune rises with the Human Clan. It favors Xuanyuan with Primordial Violet Qi, and its authority remains a point of contention among major powers 153 212 242.

Life, Death, and Reincarnation

• Di Jiang’s origin essence gives the nascent Netherworld a stable structure and a deeper connection to the Primordial World, allowing laws from the main realm to fill its incomplete rules 19.
• Once the Netherworld is complete, nine vortices connect the realms and souls begin to reincarnate. Di Jiang establishes the Life and Death Reincarnation Grand Array to purify souls and sustain the cycle 109.
• The resulting connection—called Nine Karma Samsara—is treated as a balanced passage between realms with opposing yin and yang conditions. Di Jiang rejects Xuanyuan’s proposal for additional ordinary passageways because travel through them could harm inhabitants of either realm 220.

History

Early Calamities and Recovery

The Dragon-Han Calamity and Dao-Demon Conflict leave the western lands damaged, with ruined spiritual veins and lingering malevolent energy. Mount Sumeru, formerly the Western Ancestral Vein, retains too little of that energy for Di Jiang’s intended formation 8 9.

Later conflicts over Innate Spiritual Treasures bring widespread slaughter and damage to mountains and rivers. The world can heal such destruction over time, provided it does not reach the foundation-shaking scale of earlier catastrophes 39.

Competing Powers and Earthly Governance

The Heavenly Court, Demon Clan, and Di Jiang’s Witch Clan and Underworld form a three-way balance. With no direct clash between all three, the world grows more prosperous and stable for a time 69.

Di Jiang establishes the Underworld with Mount Buzhou as its core, extending its authority across the land rather than limiting it to the Netherworld. Its offices govern mountains, rivers, earth veins, and earthly fortune 47 59 653. After Di Jiang departs into Chaos, Huoyun and Randeng jointly maintain its earthly and Netherworld responsibilities 653.

Expanding Connections and Later Tribulations

Xuanyuan uses Sky-Connecting Jianmu to open stable routes among worlds within the reach of the Primordial World’s laws. These passages enable travel and exchange with affiliated worlds; Jianmu eventually links more than ninety-nine percent of them 217 220.

A Heavenly River breach later sends stellar-charged floodwaters into the land, destroying terrain and engulfing living beings 253. Failed attempts by Xia Human Kings to overcome the Human King Tribulation also accumulate karma and calamity energy, obscuring the Heavenly Dao’s operations 263. When a later Great Tribulation ends, its calamity qi disperses and the Nine Provinces regain their clarity 403.
