Minotaur Maze.
The swamp biome contained new creatures.
The beetle was a very interesting monster.
It had two huge pincers, each half the size of its body, and used them to clamp down on people when it attacked.
The immense pressure felt as if it could cut a person in half. For anyone afraid of insects, it was an absolute nightmare.
When the pincers grabbed him, Gu Yu felt like he was riding a coin-operated rocking toy.
Steve's Power kept him from being cut in half, and the beetle's attacks only dealt minor damage to his Alloy Set.
The experience was quite novel.
He quickly dispatched it with a few sword strikes, then inspected the map.
"Where could it be?"
The maze had two levels. He had successfully found the entrance to the second level and killed the Minotaur Mushroom.
That bull-headed monster was supposedly designed as an Elite Monster, so it was nowhere near strong enough to count as a boss.
That made it very easy to deal with.
Using his sword's knockback, he pinned it in a corner and kept attacking until it was defeated.
Its drops were a Minotaur Battle Axe, Minotaur Salad Meat, and a Minotaur Mushroom Trophy.
The battle axe was an upgraded Diamond Axe, while every boss dropped a trophy—a miniature model of its head. There wasn't much else to say about those.
The most useful drop was the Salad Meat.
Not only did it restore a large amount of hunger, it also unlocked the Flame Swamp Barrier, qualifying him to challenge the next boss, the Hydra.
And it came with a bonus unique to the Block World.

That was two extra hearts, or four points of health!
