Background

Before reaching the Golden Body Physique, Mu Chuan secretly challenged Bei Ming Guchen of Dragon King Mountain. He activated and overdrafted his Archaic Stone Bear Bloodline during the fight, yet was decisively defeated by Bei Ming Guchen, who was close to Great Completion in the Golden Body Physique. Mu Chuan’s master subsequently forbade him from using his bloodline except in life-or-death circumstances. 86

Mu Chuan later entered the demonic beast inner region with Ma Li and Qian Muyou after receiving Wu Jiangbai’s request for help. Arriving too late to save Wu Jiangbai from Cruel Leopard, he retaliated against the demonic beasts and became embroiled in their struggle for the area’s spiritual resources. 82

Appearance

Demonic Beast Mountain Range

Mu Chuan arrives with Ma Li and Qian Muyou during the conflict over the Flame Devouring Fruit. After Cruel Leopard kills Wu Jiangbai, Mu Chuan attacks it, then battles Shan Lin while Ma Li and Qian Muyou contend with the other demonic beasts. 82 83

Facing a multi-sided encirclement and his companions’ injuries, Mu Chuan breaks his restriction and activates the Archaic Stone Bear Bloodline. His transformation lets him repel Cruel Leopard and Lin Shan, though Qin Hao ultimately kills Cruel Leopard after entering the battle. 86 87

Mountain Lord Conflict

Mu Chuan and Ma Li intervene when the Mountain Lord appears poised to kill Qin Hao. Mu Chuan attacks with his hammer despite the enormous disparity between his Golden Body cultivation and the Mountain Lord’s mid-stage Tribulation Crossing power. 92

He subsequently fights alongside Ma Li and Qian Muyou against Lin Yin, defeating her through teamwork. He is later injured and rendered unconscious during the broader battle, but Qin Hao urges the group to continue fighting. 93 94
