Ch. 1The System Arrives

Six-year-old Tang Yin, a transmigrator in Sacred Soul Village, received a powerful system and discovered his unusual bloodline and new abilities. As the Spirit Awakening ceremony approached, Old Jack arrived to tell the family when it would take place.

  • While waiting for breakfast to cook, Tang Yin received the 2D System No. 9527 and opened his personal panel.
  • Tang Yin claimed his beginner's gift pack, gaining the Kabbalah Tree of Life Martial Soul, an Awakening Potion, Life Affinity Max, and ten draws.
  • Tang Yin checked his updated panel and found that his race now included an unawakened Elf bloodline.
  • Tang San returned home, and Tang Yin served breakfast while keeping Tang Hao in line.
  • After breakfast, Old Jack visited and told Tang Yin and Tang San that the Spirit Awakening ceremony would take place in three days, with a Soul Grandmaster from Nuoding City's Spirit Hall branch conducting it.

Ch. 2Spirit Awakening

Tang San learned about Spirit Awakening and Soul Master ranks while Tang Hao assessed his forging, then Tang Yin and Tang San attended the village ceremony. Both brothers had Blue Silver Grass martial spirits, but one possessed Innate Full Soul Power, leaving Old Jack disappointed as Su Yuntao dismissed their prospects.

  • Old Jack explained Spirit Awakening and the Soul Master ranks, then argued with Tang Hao over Sacred Soul Village's legendary Spirit Saint.
  • Tang San showed Tang Hao the iron block he had reduced through ten thousand strikes, and Tang Hao told him to forge it down to the size of a fist.
  • Three days later, Old Jack led Tang San and Tang Yin to the village Spirit Hall for the awakening ceremony.
  • The children greeted Tang Yin as their big brother, and Su Yuntao mistakenly called him a little sister.
  • Tang Yin awakened Blue Silver Grass and half a level of Innate Soul Power; Su Yuntao then revealed that two children had Soul Power, including one with Innate Full Soul Power, but both had Blue Silver Grass.

Ch. 3Chapter 3

After Su Yuntao left, Tang San asked Grandpa Jack about Soul Rings. Jack said they came from hunting Soul Beasts and realized that Tang Yin and Tang San were the children with Blue Silver Grass martial souls.

  • Su Yuntao left the village.
  • Tang San asked Grandpa Jack what a Soul Ring was and how to obtain one.
  • Grandpa Jack said Soul Rings seemed to come from hunting Soul Beasts, a dangerous task for Soul Masters.
  • Grandpa Jack asked Tang Yin and Tang San whether they were the children Su Yuntao had mentioned with Blue Silver Grass martial souls.

Ch. 4Continuation

Tang Yin and Tang San discussed attending Nuoding City Junior Spirit Master Academy, but Tang Hao initially refused to let Tang San go. After seeing both boys’ Blue Silver Grass martial souls, Tang Hao became visibly shaken and withdrew to the inner room, leaving Tang San about to reveal his second martial soul.

  • Old Jack offered Tang San the village’s Work-Study Student spot, while Tang Yin said he would stay home to care for Tang Hao.

  • Tang San told Tang Yin he had another martial soul.

Ch. 5Chapter 4

  • Tang San admitted he wanted to become a Spirit Master, and Tang Hao arranged for Old Jack to take him to Nuoding City Junior Spirit Master Academy.
  • Tang Hao taught Tang San the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer, then told him to pack for the academy.
  • Three months later, Tang San left with Old Jack after writing a note for Tang Hao and preparing him porridge.
  • Tang Hao drank the porridge as Tang Yin watched, and Tang Yin asked to leave to gain experience.
  • Tang Hao initially objected because Tang Yin had only half-level Innate Soul Power, but he eventually agreed and told him to be careful.

Ch. 6Awakening Skills

Tang Yin awakened his Blue Silver Emperor martial soul in the Star Dou Great Forest, gained powerful healing and entangling abilities, and began exploring his Soul Rings and system. He ended the chapter with ten lottery draws, which awarded him God-Tier Cooking.

Ch. 7Dugu Bo

After a year of training in Star Dou Great Forest, Tang Yin traveled to Sunset Forest and met Dugu Bo beside the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. He offered to help Dugu Bo and his granddaughter Dugu Yan with their poison in exchange for the medicinal herbs, and Dugu Bo dropped him into the well.

  • When Dugu Bo arrived during a bout of poison backlash, Tang Yin grabbed him and used spiritual power to ease his condition.
  • Tang Yin demanded the medicinal herbs in the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and warned that Dugu Yan might die young without treatment.
  • Dugu Bo agreed to trust Tang Yin and carried him above the well before tossing him in.

Ch. 8Successfully Advanced to Soul Grandmaster

Tang Yin used the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well to advance his cultivation, gain new soul skills, and prepare an antidote for Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan. A month later, Dugu Bo returned, and Tang Yin offered him a Poison Pill as the cure.

  • Tang Yin asked Dugu Bo to pick the Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass and Infernal Delicate Apricot, ate them, and plunged into the spring.
  • After seven days, Tang Yin emerged and told Dugu Bo to stay away for a month while he worked on a cure.

  • Tang Yin gave Dugu Bo a Poison Pill, and after refining it Dugu Bo reached level 92.
  • Tang Yin gave Dugu Bo two diluted Poison Pills for Dugu Yan and asked for Dugu Bo's Treasure Bag in return for becoming his friend.
  • Dugu Bo offered Tang Yin his granddaughter's hand in marriage, but Tang Yin refused and agreed to teach Dugu Yan if she consented.
  • Dugu Bo brought Dugu Yan to meet Tang Yin, and she doubted that a boy younger than her could be her teacher.
  • Tang Yin demonstrated Flame Breathing and Insect Breathing, impressing Dugu Yan enough that she accepted him as her master.

Ch. 10Teaching a Disciple, Leaving

Tang Yin trained Dugu Yan for a year, teaching her to summon snakes and strengthening her with intense physical exercises before revealing his true identity and leaving. He flew to the Star Dou Great Forest, where he reached level 31 and prepared to obtain his third Soul Ring.
