Xu Yi took out a jade token, activated its restriction, and released a burst of light. The light gathered in the air into a vast screen, displaying a map of the Purple Domain.
The blue-robed fat man didn't search the map. "Senior surely knows how to determine locations in this realm. I remember the Qi Family's coordinates: Four-Nine Intertwined, Six-Three Gold Water."
As soon as he finished speaking, a beam of light poured into him from above.
The blue-robed fat man's whole body stiffened. He stared at Xu Yi in terror. Suddenly, Xu Yi tossed him a white spirit core, which landed in his hands.
"Don't worry. If you told the truth, the restriction will dissolve on its own in three days. If you lied, you probably won't live another three."
With that, Xu Yi put an arm around Yan Zi's shoulders and drifted away.
The blue-robed fat man stood rooted in place and muttered, "Do I look like I've lost my mind? You'd have to be crazy to lie to a great devil like you."
Once the blue-robed fat man gave him the coordinates, Xu Yi worked out the Qi Family's location and was about to head there when he felt his clothes being tugged tight again.
He looked at Yan Zi. She was still turned away from him.
All along the way, Yan Zi had refused to face him. Whenever Xu Yi deliberately moved around to her side, she would turn away.
Xu Yi knew Xiao Yan was sensitive and keenly aware of everything. She probably didn't want him to see her like this.
He had already come to regard Yan Zi as family. How could he care what she looked like now?
