Meanwhile, Yun Qin earned the scripture for him and faced her mother’s anger, as conflict in the Heavenly Court and the human realm continued to build.

• Yun Qin learned that Wuhuo’s foundation was beyond the celestial physicians’ ability to repair, then won the Ziwei Emperor Qi True Scripture by defeating ten opponents for the Northern Emperor.
• Lü Chunyang recognized Qi WuHuo as his senior brother, while Qi WuHuo returned to He Lian Mountain and declared himself its Mountain God to the Black Bear and his demons.
• Qi WuHuo defeated the Black Bear, resigned as Mountain God to Empress Houtu, and regained some of his foundation after witnessing Earth’s transformations and comprehending Earth Vein Thunder.
• Qi WuHuo concluded that Jinzhou’s massacre had served a blood sacrifice to nurture a Saint Embryo, while Yun Qin used the scripture to help him cultivate and was drawn into the Star Lords’ contest.
• Qi WuHuo defeated scores of Star Lords and Great Emperor Zhuling’s avatar, completed his Primordial Prenatal Qi foundation, and took Zhuling’s Five-Fire Banner before Xuan Du intervened in the ensuing conflict.

Qi WuHuo left Square Inch Mountain, rescued people from the Demon Kingdom, and entered Jinzhou to investigate the Green Lion’s ritual. He discovered that the ritual drained Jinzhou’s ley lines and began changing it into a sword formation while learning from both Great Emperor Dongyue and the Great Sage Green Lion.

• Qi WuHuo trained under Daoist Qingyu until their fight reached a stalemate, then established Square Inch Mountain and began teaching the Dao.
• Qi WuHuo infiltrated the Demon Kingdom, rescued refugees and a child, and revealed himself after killing the wolf demon who exposed him.
• Qi WuHuo brought rain to drought-stricken Jinzhou, met Su You and Xiao Pengcao, and joined the musicians preparing for the Great Sage Green Lion’s ceremony.

Qi WuHuo destroyed the Green Lion’s ritual, escaped the Demon Realm’s pursuit, and carried Great Emperor Dongyue’s seal onward. In Fengdu, he survived a challenge to his claim as the Northern Emperor’s Envoy and reforged Destroy Buddha, Execute Emperor with the ghosts’ essence.

• Qi WuHuo replaced the Green Lion’s breakthrough ritual with a killing formation, destroyed the sacred embryo’s bond to the Green Lion, and refined it into a pure stone as the Great Sages attacked.
• The monk and Great Emperor Dongyue helped Qi WuHuo escape, but Qing Jingwei killed Dongyue while Qi WuHuo fled with the Dongyue Seal and the Saint Embryo.
• Old Yellow Ox rallied the Heavenly Court to rescue Qi WuHuo, and the Northern Emperor led its forces into battle before asking Qi WuHuo to surrender the seal.
• Qi WuHuo refused to give up Dongyue’s Seal and continued into the Demon Realm, where he advanced his cultivation and reunited with Yun Qin, who vowed to stay by him.

Qi WuHuo escaped Fengdu and sought to stop the Demon Realm crisis by joining its earth veins to Jinzhou and Mount Dongyue. As the Demon army gathered for a larger assault, Yun Qin arrived with allies and a message from Big Uncle: “Primordial Scarlet Script!”

• Shangqing declared Qi WuHuo his disciple, while Qi WuHuo used Fengdu’s spirits and authority to earn the Ghost Emperors’ request that he leave.
• Yun Qin learned of Qi WuHuo’s deeds and declared that he was hers, while the Fire Luminary attacked the Dipper Department and its seal and weapon later offered Qi WuHuo their power.
• Qi WuHuo defeated Zhou Qi’s soul fragment, heard Nan Qingzi’s account of Xuan Zhen, and accepted his senior brother’s unfinished path of fortune before leaving Fengdu with gifts.
